But anyway, that does not narrow the field down as I am far from alone in the bashing of Andy Murray, indeed he is almost universally disliked among tennis fans, even in his native Britain.
He most certainly is not! The vast majority of us British tennis fans are great supporters of Murray and why the heck wouldn't we be? Who else is out there to represent British tennis on the big stages? A big fat NO-ONE,that's who!!
His negative attitude, boring persona, antisocial tendencies (videogames) and frankly mind-boggling over-achievements given his physical limitations simply do not endear him to many.
So he likes videogames,so what? People who've actually met him confirm that he is one of the friendliest, nicest guys around (go and read the thread about best and worst experiences of meeting players). And I fell about laughing when you describe, quote
"mind-boggling over-achievements given his physical limitations do not endear him to many! unquote. For starters, even if any of that crap were true, don't you think that would be a reason to ADMIRE him,not SNEER at him? A guy who overcame 'physical weakness' to beat the best players on the tour time and time again and win loads of titles into the bargain!
That is SOME achievement! In actual fact,he's one of the fittest guys on the tour (though he often deceptively likes to give the impression he's tiring in a match).
No-one's forcing you to like Murray. We all have our personal likes and dislikes. But whether you like him or not,you cannot deny his achievements as a player and his place in the top 5!
