First, lux gut does not exist.
Second, natural gut string has good durability, and the best playability as far as feel.
Third, RPM and similar less expensive copoly stings are more reasonable in prices and also have good durability. I personally love the MSV hex string which plays very similar to RPM for less than 1/2 the price.
Many ATP pros hybrid copoly and natural gut. Its a great playability combo but does not have the durability of using either in a full stringbed. I was a nutatural gut player but am now happy with the copoly offerings at low tension.

what do you mean by Special playability ???
Well, nothing plays like luxilon. It has lots of power and spin (alu versions).
With rpm, there's alot of strings that do the same thing rpm does at <half the cost. Rpm is just a low powered poly with decent spin for an hour or two.
For me, Luxilon BB Alu Rough lost too much tension after about a week. It was dead and I kept having to straighten out my strings after every rally. RPM feels softer on the arm, has better feel, and maintains tension longer.
I've heard there are other strings out there that are similar to RPM at half the price. That might be correct. If anyone can vouch for those RPM clones, speak out! Maybe I'll try one.

Agree that Lux has more power but RPM has much better control and Spin and Feel. Also agree that RPM loses its most of special quality after 2 hours of play. Not sure why this is. ?? RPM does have good Power at lower tensions.

I just had too many issues with Luxlon and lack of control, especially around 60 lbs range. Ball will just come off with HOT power at odd times with NO reason. I could never understand why this happens ?
