I just had a Dat's moment. Some guy just got in my face and lol.. said "oh you want to hit me?". All because he thought he was getting hustled (I think). Well he did bet a beer!
Anyways, he had to be restrained by his buddy and apparently standing there in awe made his temper get worse. Not to joke but he was red headed and his hair almost matched his face.

finally a new moco food truck. tired of dc idiots getting food trucks but we in moco having to suffer going to actual restaurants and sitting down and stuff.

food looks good! I am still pretty surprised on how much we still have to pay at these food trucks. It's just as much as regular sit down places. Granted they don't have rent and maintainece, I would figure costs will be lower. But I figure they should lowered their prices a tad. For a regular sized lunch, it's around $8 to $11.
It seems like authentic Taco Trucks seems to be the only exception.
btw, I am going to LobsterTruck for lunch. I guess they are taking my $15 for a lobster sub today.

cb - that's why these trucks are popping up all over the country. they can charge almost as much or as much as a sit down restaurant. but they don't have to worry bout wait staff, kitchen staff, hostess, rent, etc. it's usually a 2 man operation so i can imagine these truck owners are making a pretty nice profit and a lot of it cash.

Played my third match with Downs last night, another beat down - continued by an autograph session (downs signed a bra, I stood in as security)
FTW - 3 matches, and 3 different "new beast" selections for Downs.
Food trucks, new frames, ankle braces? quick skim provided me with the most important facts.
Hope everyone is well, perhaps a meet since the weather is turning.

sap: I don't know about Fojol. They probably mixed in a can of Sherwin Williams in their chicken and call it curry. Their lassie pops are pretty good.

i have not tried fojol bros for quite some time. i know that now they operate a 2nd truck.
as for their food. they used to pick it up from indian place in reston and might of changed their location. being one of the 1st trucks in DC, i'll always have some space in my stomach for them.

I work near the smithsonian metro station. I usually goto either metro ctr, rosslyn or federal center when I am on a food truck urge.

But speaking of BBQ, we had my dad's 80th birthday party (smashing success, BTW) last weekend and my Chapel Hill-living sister snuck up some of my dad's favorite pig from his favorite joint in NC. She hauled up 8 lbs...and our party crowd (of 30) ate it all (it was not the only entree either
). I should have had her bring 10 lbs.

never really had good bbq from a food truck. the best is ned and bud's in richmond. my theory is that bbq is a low and slow thing so having a truck that needs to crank out the bulk of your business between 12-2pm violates this bbq time and space principle.

i was doing fine in practice rallies and then we played a little bit where i was crushed soundly. i hope my rusty tennis game improves over the next few days in Naples cuz i was feeling pretty good about some things but with Sup I was making the same ol mistakes. to sum up, i am lazy, fat, and make stupid mistakes as soon as i start keeping score.

Downs... Still 95d but my tennis coach down here will let me know soon if i play ok with them after hitting 1million balls. I think theyll be good, but all poly wuld def hold up better on the claey. My mains are severely notched after hitting with sup for less than an hour. Big hitters like me and jolly go through a LOT of racquets. Prolly need 13 in my bag at the minimum.

Comparing to the other companies that make similar choco's (i.e. Lindt, Girdelli, and etc.) It's a a better price.
Can't believe you like 85%. That stuff reminds me when my elementary school bully rubbed my face and tasted the aspalt on the basketball court.
But it melts really well in deserts. Have you tried the chilli chocolate? It tastes so different.

Most definitely the dark chocolates are the way to go. The lighter and milk chocolates are way too sweet.

Try super-dark chocolate (80%+) with vintage port. This is a real taste treat. Also goes well with red wine, preferable a rich, dark wine like Australian Shiraz or a Cotes du Rhone.
