The Londy is on it's way to become the offical stick of TWMAC. so far I've counted three folks.
zap, monkey, paulman. anyone else?

but what's the deal? The product has to discontinued in order to get popular?

Nah just messing with it...amongst a few others. I'll be surprised it cracks the top 3 in my stable.

how does the London compare to the 4D 200 Tour (my current weapon of choice)

4D 200 Tour was a super stable, solid, and heavy plow frame with very good flex. Slightly head heavy for super quick paced dubs play, which is what I usually play. For singles play, it's a really nice frame and pj looks great.

London is much lighter, spinny, and fast swinging with less plow through. Seems pretty good but doesn't feel as flexy even though both tested out as 63 flex. I'll know more how nice it really is when I get it on the court.

sapient had a couple of 4d 200's - the 18x20 pattern one. i found it awesome for serving and blasting groundies. for pretty much anything else it was really really sluggish. in comparison, a wilson pro staff 85 or 90 is much much more maneuverable.

so far i'm liking the londons (98 square inch version non-tour). surprising pop. a good deal more power than say an exo3 tour. above average spin but not in the same league as more spin crazy sticks. great pocketing effect. very good comfort and i'm playing with full poly at 50 pounds. at 4 points headlight it feels a smidge sluggish sometimes which seems odd given it's 311-ish swingweight. at least according to TW. with vibe damp, no overgrip it weighs 327 grams.

topaz sighting this weekend playing combo dubs. coolblue sighting too this weekend as he was kind enuff to string up my awesome mfil 300's.

had really good curry this weekend at this joint:

goat curry, an order of naan and an order of the rosemary garlic naan too. effing yum. i ate every drop of the curry and was tempted to drive back for more. i'm going back tonight. i am on a mission to find indian food that my wife who doesn't like curry might like. chicken tikka masala or tandoori chicken might work.

what's for lunch people?

knee problems + weight = No tennis.

Can't get rid of the first till the second one goes down. I guess salad for me.

I think I got the less carbs down now. Portion control is now the next objective. Smaller box for food by the lb.

they got indian-chinese there. I want to try it out too! Were the sizes pretty average? Like typical 5 dinky pieces of goat and some sauce? Or was it pretty decent?

Oh yeah, let me know if the tension feels 50? I've had folks complain to me that the 50 felt like mid 50's. I've checked already using my trusty $5 luggage scale and it was good.

Zap: I need a lesson doing one piece or ATW. (are they the same?) Are the starting knots a bulky or a paranel? And what about ending too? I remember you telling me to do the 3 stretched out arm to arm length as the short end.

Anyone in the market for a stroller. We have this one but are getting rid of it since we bought one that fits two kids.

that's a super pimp stroller JRK. i was at national harbor this weekend and saw one of these:

looks like a 3 wheel segway. seems a lot more stable and useful.

this also looks promising. dorky. but promising.

ooh. this looks better than a SMART car.

4D version is at least as sluggish as Aerogel version but is much more stable.

My London 98 was 315 grams strung and closer to 5 pts HL. Not sluggish at all. QC specs are all over the place with these. Guess that's why they're giving them away?? Lol

I totally agree with you on the maneuverability concerns, it's not great at net (part of that is probably that i'm not that strong at them anyway), but i just ordered some leather grips to hopefully give it more weight in the handle (not sure if that will help).

For doubles I have a PSC 6.1 95 that is way better for "reflex tennis" but I only have one of them.

yikes that is what Serena said yesterday. can't believe how she is dismantling everyone. always wonder how she will fare against a top atp 100 player?

Didn't she claim to have beat her practice partner? IIRC - there was whole controversy over that with some coach or ATP players who knew they guy saying that there was no way that happened.

As much as I am a big Serena fan, IMHO, her movement is not up to snuff to really scare a top 100 ATP player. All those guys hit big, but it's court coverage that seems to separate the elite players. When She's on, there's no one in the WTA who can match her firepower, but IMHO, she struggles if she's not dictating points and is forced to do most of the running.

I have video of her practice match with her male practice partner at the Sony. I should download it and share.

IMO he was boosting her confidence. You make the call *insert jrs drool*

Strikpforce JR 12 is on to somethign here.

Serenas biggest weapons are simply mediocre at the mens level. I dont know how far down in the rankings you have to go, but the top 100 should have no trouble. Lukas Rosol is 91 Blake is 114. I dont see how she coudl compete with either one of them. But Im the same guy that said if I was allowed to play in the WNBA I would dominate like 93 Barkley.

So lets just say at 182 she could give Jimmy Wang a run for his money.

But right now she looks unstoppable. The sisters looked unstaoppable in do0ubles as well. Then Venus started volleying like I do and they got sent home packing.

Disclaimer - I dont know Jimmy Wang, or if he is actually any good ro not. Since he is barely under Tommy Robredo i would say he is pretty good and would probably have no trouble beating Serena. Its just when yiou see a name like Jimmy Wang and have a chance to say it. You have to say jimmy Wang every time.

apparently they will let ANYBODY become a parent.. no questions asked!
nobody asked for my rap sheet or an iq test or nuthin!

but j-woww is the real boss. she risked her life to bring
our little princess into the world.
she's on bedrest for 1-2 weeks cuz her blood pressure
went through the roof. we resisted all of the orders
that jwoww get epidural, pitocin, and magnesium sulfate
and we had a natural birth. maybe we were crazy cuz the
docs said we were but they both made it!
bp was 180/120 and it is still in the 160s/100s range now.
j could have a stroke or seizure any moment now but
if she chills in bed like queen of sheba then everything hopefully
will be ok. im actually doing chores and doing cooking and cleaning
etc as well as changing stinky diapers. it SUX but i guess i gotta
grow up a little bit now. maybe
the baby is awesome and rarely cries so that is a real BLESSING!
shes kind of cute too!
we made such friends with the delivery nurse cuz she helped keep the
med-crazy doctors away from us that she is coming over to our house to
give the baby a present! the nurses were almost all amazing but the docs were almost all terrible.
wish us luck... not sure what to do with these 2hours on/2hours off deal especially since i dont have boobs. well i sorta do but no milk.
time to sell my racquets. although i did get out for some horrible basketball tonight.
how jrs is doing this with twins and a toddler i have no idea. unlike mckayla, i am impressed!

thanks guys! i do feel like the boss-man!

congrats dats! no more rhyming and i mean it. anybody want a peanut?

topaz from your vantage point you must not have seen my 10 double faults. yes 10 in a 2 set dubs match.

zap/sobad -- i feel like i'm missing out on some awesome joke. but that joke is in martian.

cb -- i had probably 6 big chunks of goat plus the bone and tendons. so probably not huge portions. but they do have a well priced lunch buffet during the week and weekend. i didn't go last night but tonight it's on!

TM, it was hard to see all the way over to your court. But I didn't miss the handshake, which seemed to happen about five minutes after you started!

Major props on the Princess Bride reference!

Last night during my FF draft... someone said they wish they could draft Andre the Giant.

I said "anybody want a peanut?" and nobody knew what the f**k I was talking about.
