^ at least it wasn't crazy windy today so not as critical having fresh (tighter) strings.
had to leave before the end but ssgator was up in the 3rd.
ssgator being up 3-1 in the 3rd set has not worked out well for him lately.

Hey gator I was there hoping to get the spot in the club draw in the morning but so as it turned out somebody did pull out and Frankie offered me to play only at 430pm but unfortunately that's when my new daddy role kicks in and I had to go pick up my little angel from daycare. Damn I wish I had kids earlier
I did however get roped in to playing doubles somehow, my least favorite sport right after horse back riding
Not sure what were their names but it was some young kid who has two speeds 0 and 100 and older gentlemen with very nice touch
I think I saw you there warming up for your match so did not want to bother you otherwise I would say hi
So who's in the finals of open and club tomorrow ?

I've never seen my wife so civil in a political discussion before. She is hardcore conservative. Probably helps there were no alcoholic drinks at OTC but still. She's a pit bull once she gets to know you. I give it another 2 years and she'll talk off your head for 2 hours about politics. :twisted:

too bad we had to cut short the discussion. we were just starting to get into it. i'm conservative on a lot of topics and not "married" to any political party. will vote for either side depending on who i think will do the better job. sometimes neither candidate is worthy so just punt.

It's funny, when I have discussions with folks who tend to vote the other way from me I almost always find there is a lot of common ground on a variety of issues.

After 4 straight days of tennis starting tomorrow, I think my wrist will need a break but I'll let you know.

If you want to try and find a pickup match down at Orlando Tennis Center (OTC), you can hang out there on the weekend mornings starting around 9 or so. You also might be able to find some people to hit with during the work week around lunch time.

There is a little lobber you've played before that called the string "Back Edge" because the topspin always seemed to bring the ball down just in time. He actually complained about the string to a few other people.
