I'm not sure if this has been before, sorry if this is a repeat. just curious, who is your favorite active player? On this board, I suspect it will be something like 49% likes Rafa, 49% likes Federer, 2% likes some other dude. Seems like I can only make 10 poll options, so I can't list everyone, but I'm assuming most posters here like someone in top 10. Am I right?

I consider myself a Djokovic fan. However, taking all the top 9, Gasquet would be my favourite, closely followed by Ferrer and then Djokovic.

In a tennis world where challengers could win big tournaments, I would root for Davydenko, Wawrinka and Dimitrov. In a tennis world were all big tournaments are shared between the top 4, I still root for Fed.

I really hope someone else could win though.

Federer, then Djokovic/Dimitrov, then Wawrinka/Del Potro. I also have a soft spot for oldies like Davydenko and Hewitt.

Thanks for making this. Even tho we have had these kinds of threads before I think it is interesting to keep having them as the landscape of talk tennis warehouse changes

Useless playing style??? Haas is destroying giants at 35. Wawrinka and Gasquet are playing awesome in 2013.

Haas is and has always been my number 1, but it's hard not to have a bit of fun when Federer is on-point with his game. Same goes for Tsonga and Gulbis. Tomic I also love to watch because I'm just mesmerized by his strokes and the power he seems to get with little effort.

Oh man. What a question. In the TW sphere of Fed vs. Nadal, I go Fed, but my favorite player is Raonic. I just love watching that serve, and I model my serve after it! Watching the Benoit Paire match today, I've discovered a new player to like. I don't think I've ever seen a drop shot that good (or that overused!).

well, I thought some by making the poll public some posters will be exposed as liking a certain player which might open them to attack by other posters, so I didn't.

I know its tough to pick one favorite, but I had to limit the poll to one answer or else everyone would pick multiple choices and we'd have no answers as to who is most favored here on this board.

No love for Berdych or Tsonga? no Czech or French posters to support their compatriot?

Looks like Federer is running away with this so far. COME ON, we need more votes for Nadal!

you're welcome. Since the board seems flooded with discussions of Nadal vs Federer, my main goal is to find out who the the board truly favors, and also find out something of what the board thinks of the rest of the top 10.

Why? This is not 2005-08. There are multiple accounts held by some of the nadal fans here. They might help you. Or are they helping already? :twisted:

Love watching Davydenko when he is on. Which is unfortunately not that often anymore. Such great early ball striking.

Tsonga is always entertaining. Same goes for Wawrinka of late.

Also enjoy watching Gulbis. Like his game and also how forthright he is in interviews.

In the top 10 I like Djokovic, Tsonga and Murray. I had to cast my vote for Tsonga because he's entertaining and too much of a good guy not to have any votes. I also find myself rooting for Hewit, Haas, and Blake when I'm watching them play. Still love what they do and it would be nice to see them have a last run of success.
