By "baller" he just means good players , and by "stacked" he means there are a significant number of those good players.
So it's not like Tony just has to worry about 1 or 2 opponents, there are quite a few that could pose a threat.

I hope Tony takes out these guys. Playing higher seeded players consecutively in a tournament is going to be mentally and physically tough on him.

I got a game off Tony last summer, I was leading 1-0, then it got ugly, 6-1, 6-0 
I've never played anyone in my whole life as good as Tony and I was really amped up but really nervous too. I was thinking, "What if I can't even get into a rally and i don't even get to any of his balls? How embarrassing." Luckily I could rally on occasion but when your timing is off because of nerves you tape a lot of shots you normally make and your footwork is off. He'd still destroy me not matter what but i at least want to enjoy some better points.
Seemed like a nice guy and i asked others if he took it easy on me. They said, "Tony doesn't take it easy on anyone."
Maybe I'll get another crack at someone that good some day.

Tony, the guy you played in your 2nd match, Zach Northey, how would you say his game matched up compared to some of the other people you've played. I'm asking about his serve in particular.
I've seen him play in person before, so I know he's a pretty big guy, about 6'4", 190-200 lbs, with a huge serve. Did you have trouble getting his serve back, or are you accustomed to returning serves that big??

Thanks guys! Tough one to swallow today. I have enough of those under my belt though that I can handle it better now I think. Sometimes you're just not going to be at your best, though I still nearly pulled it off. JC will be a good college player.
To answer your question Rob, yes Zach is a big guy. He serves big and gets his share of aces and forced misses and short returns. Id put him in a second tier, whereas some guys just also place the ball extremely well to go along with the power and you can feel helpless at times. Returning is a fairly strong part of my game and I was able to get in the points enough, and when I did I liked my chances for the point. He is such a nice kid so I wish him very well in his journey.

Too bad about your loss, I see JC beat Deiton B in straight sets recently also. Hopefully you can get healthy and stay healthy the rest of the summer. Good luck in your US open sectional. I see Evan Song and Brian Battisone are in your section qualifier. They actually played each other last year in the national qualifier.

Us Open sectional this weekend. If things go according to plan, ill either be playing Evan Song or Brian Battistone in the final. Playing mixed as well so should be fun!

Well, looks like Evan Song has withdrawn due to an injury. Battistone is now be the favorite coming out of the top half of the draw.

Yeah that is a good question. Maybe someone else paid for him to enter. How many points do you think Tony's opponent will get? 0, <5, <10??

You know, with a 120mph serve, who can hang with Errani, and can beat someone multiple levels higher with athleticism as long as it's a good matchup.
In which case, Tony will be lucky to win a set.

LOL...on a more serious note, I know of a 4.0 player who has hit 115 mph serves on a radar gun. Outside of his serve though, he sprays balls all over the place and has trouble controlling his shots.

I'm sure he'll get a few points ... he could easily hit a service return that clips the net and falls over or a lucky serve that doesn't get returned... but I'm fairly sure he won't get a single game.
From Tony's other tournament results, he doesn't seem to be the sort to let up and give away a game or two just to make the other guy feel better. He routinely beats players 0 and 0, or 0 and 1 ... against a 3.5 I have no doubt he will double bagel him and get off the court quickly.
