Repairing paint chips

I am fussy about my rackets and like to keep them looking new. Currently I use sharpie pens and color scratches and chips which works ok. Does anybody have a better method such as fingernail polish or model airplane paint, etc.?

I have used fingernail polish and it works great. It's not has durable as normal paint enamel, but it's a quick fix that helps to fill in the larger chips better than a sharpie. I've had one bottle of black that's lasted over 3 years.

I use wal mart nail polish, can be as cheap as 99cents, just feels odd as a dude shopping for nail polish.

Sweet - I traded a China Pro Staff 85 (great stick!!) for a nice Pro Staff BLX 90 (another great stick) with some scratches so I'll be hunting down some white polish

dependiing on the size of chip, I used modeling clay and sanded it down then painted with modeling paint. but it's never the same. =(
