This is a thread that's been lacking on this forum for quite a while. This thread is a place where Rafa's fans can pretty much just come and talk about anything and everything they love about him, and discuss his all around greatness without the presence of any hateful Djokovic or Federer fans.

At first I wasn't sure about Nike placing the logo in the middle of the shirt, but nadal sure pulled it off! His Montreal outfit was one of my favorite outfits I've seen him in! And boy did he play well in it! I have to say, this year on hard courts he's exceeded even my expectations. If he keeps it up and wins Cincy I'll be in ecstasy

To me. The best of the modern era if not for injuries. Definitely the best player Ive seen that with the ability combined with mental toughness since Sampras.

He may not have the accolades of Federer.. Yet anyways. But you can also argue had it tougher than Federer because he had to deal with peak Djoker and injuries. While Fed got the 04-07 inferior era to inflate and pad his resume more

But he has the h2h over all main rivals. Tweaked his game to overcome his match up problem. Again something Federer FAILED to do. He adapted his game to be successful on all surfaces. Hes bar none the best pressure player since Sampras.

Yeah, the injuries were tough, last year was just so disappointing, but this year has been well worth it imo. Wimbledon was his only real hiccup. Honestly right now I'm not seeing any signs of a bad knee, and I now feel like he could play and play and play! For a while there I was concerned when I watched him sprint or play a long point, or long match in general, but now I'm very confident with him.
His accomplishments do fall short of Fed for now, but if he gets a couple slam wins away from RG he can really begin to catch up. The only ones I think are out of reach are the WTF and #1 weeks, but I do think Nadal will increase his weeks at #1 by a fair amount.

I really like Rafa's Rome 2005,06 outfits. Also has he revealed what hes wearing for Cincy and US open?

I think his GOAT year outfit-wise was 2011. Some great stuff that year! I bought a lot of those clothes haha

Yeah! That'd be amazing! Under the right circumstances he can even be #2 going into the US Open which would ensure the real final doesn't happen in the semis

Murray Should be concerned right now he's no.2 ranking is in Rafa's hands right now. Also if Rafa is no.2 for the US open who does he face is quarters and semis?

Idk about the quarters or semis, could be either Murray or Ferrer(if he can make it) in the semis, as for the quarters it could be anybody from #5->#8, or anybody who pulls an upset run

Moving on to Rafas greatness did you know rafa is 30-5 against Nole, Fed and Murray on clay and positive h2h against the big 3.

This one has a better name and is hater free. Plus news kinda says its just updates on rafa, but this one is about ANYTHING. You can go back to his childhood if you want! This isn't "news", it's just a love fest

Yes, his 2010 USO outfit was niceee. Always liked when he wore bright neon colors in clay season because his skin is tannest that time of the year, and the neons really popped as a result. Like his old yellow shirt he worse on clay in 2011

Agree, love him in black and neons. His tan lights up those colors.

Just did some searching, and looks like hes going to be showing up in black at this USO. Like the shirt he had in montral except change the yellow to plack, and the black to white. Except the swoosh is still black

Also, hasanybody noticed that nadal is already about to equal the 5 masters year that Novak had in 2011? Would love to see him compete well in the post US hard court swing to get a shot at the Career Golden Master(I think Miami is less of a challenge for him), as well as be the first to win 6 masters in a season.

This time I wont say anything negative about Nadal:) He has the most effective forehand I've ever seen in my 20+ years of watching/playing tennis - absolutely brutal.

Yes if Rafa wins 1 more masters this season then he equals Novaks 5 masters and 6 finals record. And then Rafa can go on to make further history by winning number 6. It will be an all time record winning 6 masters in a single season.

Federer doesn't have the accolades, and Nadal doesn't have the accolades of Federer. Its a two way street. And Federer's best accolade - 17 slams - it looks like Nadal is going to surpass. He obviously can't be stopped at Roland Garros and he's likely to win at least a couple more non-clay slams. So let's say 3 more Roland Garros titles (minimum) and this year's US Open and another slam. That's at least 5 more slam titles for Nadal. 17+. Now the question is, can Federer win anything else, or win the gold medal, or win slams for 9+ years in a row, or win more Wimbledon's than Sampras? Nope.

Has anybody ever noticed that nadal always has the best outfits of any pro?? Man Nike is good to him. The things they give fed are usually kinda boring, or pseudo class, and the things they give to everybody else(delpo and company) can, at times, be pretty awful. However, Nadal is always showing up in something fierce and dynamic looking.
Don't even get me started on the clothes Nole and Andy wear... No where near the level of Rafa's Nike line! Andy doesn't even get his own Adidas line, I mean come on Adidas...

Rafa is surely the GDTPOAT(greatest dressed tennis player of all time)!

To me he is mostly an overrated player with big cheating habbits. On clay he's a beast, on other surfaces he was and still is very inconsistent compared to even Murray.

Why does he need to get 17 or more slams. What is the significance of that number 17? There are already people out there who said he is better than Federer. If he wins US Open and Aus Open, he can complete a double slam. Even with 14 slams, lot more people will regard him as better player than Fed.

He has an excellent tennis style, and his attitude in terms of fight and staying in the present is superb.
