SURPRISE SURPRISE. Cheating is what he does best.
Brilliant post troll, he is cheating by playing in the tourneys and not sitting out.SURPRISE SURPRISE. Cheating is what he does best.
So Nadal will play even in some Micky Mouse tournaments despite he's knee, hamstring, neck, back, nose, head, butt, palm, elbow, etc problems?
Oh, what a shock!
Bobby guy, you don't need to be an expert to know that Nadal takes advantage of MTOs to break the rhythm of his opponents and make every loss about his injuries rather than giving full credit to his opponents.
BobbyOne, you don't need to post and read threads about Nadal that you disagree with, unless you are on his payroll!
Paul, it's NOT a shock for you! Instead of that you are very happy every time Nadal is injured. Bravo!
Yikes, you leave poor BobbyOne alone! He has a new joke about Federer being the Swiss no.2 that he likes to repeat, as if nobody had noticed the rankings this week.
really nasty f's here...nobody should root for or enjoy any players being out..in particular the top guys are the drawing cards that keep interest high
MADRID -- Rafael Nadal doesn't expect to miss any tournaments as a result of the back injury that contributed to his loss in the Australian Open final.
A statement from the world's top-ranked player says he will have another medical exam on Monday after doctors in Barcelona examined his back following his return from Australia.
Nadal lost Sunday's final in Melbourne 6-3, 6-2, 3-6, 6-3 to Switzerland's Stanislas Wawrinka after he injured his back.
Nadal says he still plans to play his next tournaments in Buenos Aires, Rio de Janeiro, Indian Wells and Miami.
Doctors have prescribed anti-inflammatory medication and physical therapy to speed his recovery.

Its the perfect setup.
Rafa wins: hes all good.
Rafa loses: hes nursing a lingering injury so this shouldn't count
Wow.. I am shocked.. shocked I tell ya...LOL
The King of the MTO is not really hurt?? Who would have guessed?
Yo, Nadal...your fees are due.
Sincerely,
Screen Actors Guild
i won't blame him for that...... it's probably tio toni who told him to.In tomorrow's news:
Nadal slated by TT haters for breathing oxygen.

I watched the whole match, from the warm up, and Nadal winced badly after a serve in the second set and also after a groundstroke at one stage, when he slowly leaned over afterwards and he was in obvious pain. He was crushed at not being able to go all out and he was gracious with the crowd during his acceptance speech. There is a YT video that I saw that is telling. I will look for it again to post it. Essentially, Nadal is telling his Uncle that it's going to be very difficult to continue and he is feeling the back muscle strain/spasms. That is very different than a herniated disc, bone, hip and/or spine issues that take a long time to "heal" or are chronic conditions. After a point, Nadal is wondering whether he can continue and is very upset early in the second set. He looks over at his Uncle and you know what I think Toni Nadal says? "Vamos, Vamos"! My take on that exchange is that Uncle Toni is letting Nadal know to just suck it up and press on..he should just stay at it and keep trying his best. Retirement should be a last resort in this very anticipated major final. Then, that's exactly what Nadal did as he continued to try and pull off the win somehow physically. The MTO in my opinion was warranted. After the point at about 5:20 in this video, Uncle Toni was letting Nadal know that "you need to press on here, stop complaining about the fix you are in during this match". He did that by just clapping loudly and looking straight back at Nadal who was talking and not pleased to say the least, just saying "Vamos" several times. Now that is much easier said than done of course, especially for an emotional player like Nadal who leaves everything on the court during a match, knowing that he will most likely not be able to win a big final. That's great news that Nadal will be playing again soon and he will be back. A chronic condition would have been a huge issue for him going forward.

borg number one, It's good that there are posters here who don't belittle Nadal unfairly and who confirm that Rafa was really injured and under pain.
FNF, With this attitude I'm convinced you NEVER were a Nadal fan!
A lot of us call it how we see it. Don't forget to heap immense amounts of irrevocable praise unto me as well Bobby love.
Lol. Yes many do Nathaniel, yet not everyone, that's for sure. Some folks even say anything to try and spin a story to somehow denigrate a player. It's really strange to observe, but it is what it is. When Federer is down, some try and really pile on and go overboard and we see it with Nadal as well in my opinion. It's the norm. Bobby_One's experience with tennis is a valuable asset for the forum.
W.P.M, I did notice that GOAT Federer is now No. 8 in the world (not too bad for a man with a backhand weakness) but Roger is still the Swiss No.2. Hope he will not fall to No.3 soon!
True, but it's important to remember that many call it as they see it, and it happens to be a different opinion to those of some others, but is just as genuine and objective as humanly possible as another's take.
Some people just genuinely see things differently and believe honestly that they have justified reasons for doing so.

He'll be right as rain as soon as the clay season rolls around.
he always is. Its almost funny that in all the years since 2005. no matter how broken, broke down, and battered his body is (allegedly) he is always fit and ready to go in clay season, winning 3-4 clay masters en route to yet anohter FO win.
I wonder how a body can be so orderly whilst being so injury plagued...
