Prince Textreme Japan only?

Will the US/Europe version be heavier than the specs for the Japan one? The Japan market one seems rather light, especially to compete with the PS97 / RF97.

Anyone have a general translation for what those dudes are saying about the frame in the video?

I'm not fluent, but from what I could tell. These were some quotes I got out of the video:

"Those cats on the TW message board are gonna eat this up!"

"Mine is defective! Someone forgot to punch the big holes in the hoop!"

"Mine looks like an updated Diablo with fancier paint"

"This Green Lantern stick is the Bomb! I don't know why people need larger head sizes. BreakPoint says so!"

"Did you see where they finally found a guy that liked the Graphene Prestige MP? Then they banned him!"

"Granville says that this is the Scalpel with a leather grip added."

"Chris and Troy says it needs more weight!"

"Britt still likes her PDR better and this isn't close to her RF97A!"

"Andy says he likes this version much better without the ports!"

Man, this new XR 95 sounds sweet. A little crisper and a tad less flexible but still comfortable (hopefully), 16x19 pattern on a 95 head, thin beam, good looks and customizable ! Apart from the specs, the sound indicates more pop, too I guess.

Definitely, more pop than the Tour 95 (formerly the Rebel 95).

What was your main issue with the Rebel?

Mostly the ball I hit with the Rebel was substantially less "heavy" then with the diablo. My longtime hitting partner said that I was easier to play when I used the rebel versus when I used the diablo. The rebel and the diablo were weighted, swingweighted and strung the same. I tried dropping the tension on the rebel, but had no luck, maybe the rebel was too soft.

I think the new Tour Pro 95 will be better for you, then. Between the 16x19 pattern, and the TeXtreme update, you'll be able to hit a bigger ball.

Well the grommets help for sure compared to the ports to give a less muted feel. The frame itself has a livelier response than the existing tour 95.

I have to agree. The feel is less muted, but still comfortable. A livelier 95 is exactly what I've been looking for.

Very well done.

The Japanese site lists some crazy low swingweights for these new sticks (288 for Tour Pro 95 and 285 for Tour Pro 100). WTH?

I've been really loving the current versions of the Tour Pro 100 and Warrior Pro 100.

The Warrior Pro 100 works really nicely with my swing. I was so surprised I liked it as much as I did considering I prefer thin beams.

The Tour Pro 100 is awesome for hitting topspin shot all day from the baseline.

i was hoping that this would be similar to a redondo Mid Just with the open pattern. But Tyler here AKA JImmy" saying there at a 288 Swing weight? Idd have to add a whole reel of lead just to get them to my Volkl X10 MId in stock form.I so desperatly want to love this stick. But that weight is good For Dora the explorer,Not me.This will really suck if Prince pumps out a beauty like this and ends up being a toothpick.I hope someone here can list the specs so i can see for myself what is Going on.Really is a beauty.Like i said make it a redondomid spec with a 16x19 i'll retire using these.Along with my Volkl PB&X10's Vcore89,WPS85's PK redondo...Heavy and soft with a 10pt HL 16x19 I buy them all.
Plus my last name is Prince wish they had something in my range.

All of my racquets are in 330-350 grams range, but honestly, I would switch to something lighter. Especially considering the trend among ATP players to keep static weight under 340 grams

288 is unstrung. Should end up 315 to 320, depending on your strings.

A little strange technology??? Still can't understand what Prince try to achieve...
Seems like The new material will make rackets lighter but most of people has their preferred swingweight so making lighter rackets might not have any benefit...
I understand XR stands for Extra response but not sure what means by Extra response. We won't see XR-J rackets because it might be japanese exclusive.
Also Prince should make Sony sensor ready buttcap like Yonex's buttcap so it can remove buttcap without tools.

One of the things I like so much with the current Prince racquets is the low stiffness ratings. I like a soft, flexy racquet. I'm hoping that the Textreme doesn't stiffen the new frames too much, losing that buttery feel that you get from sticks in the Tour line.

Either way, if the paintjobs don't change, these racquets will sell for sheer aesthetic value alone.

Hey themitchmann any news about the graphite 100? They finally bring that and the longbody back but now the 100 is gone on TW. Any update next year or do I stock up?
