After some nasty hitting session...
POG OS strung (oh.. was strung :)) with TF Multifeel 16g

Is that the old four-stripe POG OS? I have one of those too, as well as a POG OS Tour 2011. Fun frames, but they don't get much action here....

yes, this is old 4 stripe POG OS. Feels plusher than Tour version. Although Tour feels little bit crisper. I would combine plushness from 4Stripe and crispness from Tour in one racket :)

got er done up right with the gosen micro, tourna, sampras dampener, and some lead up top. time to swing out my shoes, feel the plushness on my elbow, and watch the slow knuckleball drift over the net. oughtta dominate some 2.5's with this bad boy. it swings nicely in the living room, cant weight to feel the flex on a tennis ball.

Man, that looks like a nice frame

it looks surprisingly good. actually the frame mold isnt too far off from a youtek IG prestige I have layin around. the redondo is bare bones though, just a basic graphite frame with a lot of flex. the only thing I didnt like was that it felt a little headlight and I wanted to up the SW just a bit. so just a little lead up top.

Mid or Mid+?

it's the 98. I don't have delusions of grandeur, I just want a flexy old school graphite stick with syn gut to hit with when the elbow gets tender or in less competitive non-league play. Got the POG 100 and 107 duo as well.
The Redondo MP is one of those "I gotta have it just to have it" racquets for me. As a big fan of the Prince Graphite it's a must have.

A few youtek prestige pros (one at the stringer's). Ended up cramming 2 pairs of boots in the bag. I initially hated the 2012 Djok barricades as they're so heavy but blimey they wear hard. Then picked up some astroturf hockey boots for playing on artificial grass - rock solid grip and there's no reinforced layering that you would get with a football boot so they're light and flexible. The bag has a tendency to fall apart around the straps but otherwise no complaints.

I know, it is so much more fun to have 12 different frames!!! I should be able to change frames every point!!! This new idea feels strange to me :) but I think it will be better in the end. (I am still going to get a Textreme Warrior, so I am not totally free from my racquetaholism....and maybe a TC-97) D@MN YOU Racquet Manufacturers!!!

you play on astroturf courts????

Sorry, lazily put by me - in the UK, astroturf tends to be the shorthand term for any kind of artificial grass. So these shoes are for the horrible artificial grass courts that every club in the UK seems to lay down.

I'm pretty well narrowed down to the Speed Pro XT and the Extreme Pro. I know that I play my best tennis with these two racquets. we're just gonna have to see how my elbow handles it. all of my attempts to leave poly and fairly stiff frames have failed.

there are other setups that appeal to me that make it hard for me to shrink my collection. I like the Speed MP and the Textreme 100T, but theyre both just a little too light. I near bout love the TT95, but I need the forgiveness of a 100 in frame. I love the PCG100, so I'm always gonna have a pair of those. and I've got a bab PD and APD that I won't let go just because I think theyre great frames and I love the spin.

so yeah ... I have a hard time narrowing it down.

I feel your pain. I love my O3 White army, I am down to 3 Textreme tour 100 T's, I like the Pure Aero Tour, my Angell is a beast, and I wish I could play better with the Vantage 95 (now it is strung with Black Shark, it seems to be a lot better for me). The Tour L and P were just to see how they played, but I am going to sell them off. I weighted the L and T, and they play a lot better, but they are so close now, it seems silly to have a T and an L weighted basically the same. Decisions, decisions. I have finally settled on some strings though, I have 3 reels of Black Shark on the way, and I just got a couple reels of Prince Syn gut in case I feel like a hybrid. I feel like I am at least closing in on what will eventually become my bag of DOOM. 3 Text Tour T's on one side, 3 O3 Whites on the other, and my middle compartment will be TC-100, Pure Aero Tour, and Textreme Warrior (then I will sell my Warrior Pro). It's progress at least. :)

youve got those 100T's weighted up an extra 15 or so grams, right? I've got the warrior 107 here, think it's going back. nice frame but a little light and I would prefer a 100. the 100P i thought was gonna be "it" ... I like it, but it's not the grail

I'm just a step ahead of you. I've made it through the phase of buying and demoing like crazy. I've narrowed down my specs and racquets. I have my main TC95 and 2 PCG100s and that's it in my bag.

But there's always that itch to try just 1 more promising, enticing racquet. I'll most likely get a TC97 with the same specs as my TC95. And the current Warrior 100 holds a special place in my heart, so I'll want to demo the new Textreme one for sure. Damn you racquet manufacturers for sure.

I'm with you n8, I've got my racquet that I play best with but there are a couple I own that i can't part with yet. My matching PCG100s will always be in my bag as backups. They just play too good. I actually prefer their feel to my Angell but I gotta go with results. My Warrior 100 is special to me so that's a keeper. How can I ditch a classic like the V1 Classic? And my PK Q5 was a b'day gift from my wife. I just can't let em go...but they're not in my bag. I know what I play best with and am glad to have finally given up the irrational racquetholism.

I hear ya. it's that 100% graphite goodness. what strangs do you have in yours? i gotta figure that out. POSG FEELS right and LOOKS right. not enough spin for me, though. full bed of poly, OTOH, is so low-powered in this frame. gotta be some kind of compromise.

The compromise is gut in the mains and some nice poly in the crosses. I don't know what level you play at but spin production has the most to do with your tecnique.

I never had any problems with spin production with my PCG100s. For me, the switch was all about maneuverability. Needed something with the same stability and classic feel but in a faster package.

I have always wanted to snag one of those PCG 100's. If they are still around, after I clear some inventory, I will grab one for fun. Racketeer, I have a similar sentimental attachment to my O3 White, as you do to your Warrior. It was my first real racquet, and I am so glad I got it. It started all of the madness... I tried gut/poly in a relatively cheap hybrid (Volkl Fuse) and it does play insanely awesome. I am going to put Babolat VS with Kirschbaum Black Shark  and see how it fares (I know Black Shark will cut into the VS, but I am hoping it feels fantastic until it saws all the way through) Plus it's extra practice stringing Natural Gut :)
I am pretty sure my Text Tour T's come in at about 320-325 strung and dressed up, no lead on the hoop currently. I like em headlight, and they feel way more solid when they connect with the ball. My signature is currently the battle for the Grail. Once I have them strung the same, I think I will be able to tell the differences a little better. I think that is saying a lot, that I like my Textreme Tour T as much as my Angell. Prince is on to something with this Textreme line up, they all just need some weight IMO. I like to think of them as Prince Pro Stocks, at least that's what I tell myself so I can sleep better at night :)

I realized I didn't answer your question the first time. I use multis for arm friendliness and longevity. Currently still searching for the best string out there. I've tried Prince Premier Control (average all around, low powered), Volkl VTwist (almost too much spin), Volkl Power Fiber II (best power and control option yet & currently in my racquets).

The Warrior was my 2nd "real" racquet, but it got me back in the game and kickstarted the tennis bug I suffer. If the battle for the Grail continues, I cringe when I think of your mindset when you get your hands on the TxT Warrior 100 (and possibly a TC97).

Welcome to the forum Zodd, sweet sticks!!

Thx John! Yes, i've always been a sucker for the the sweet/plush feeling players frames alright. The PT600's have been the main sticks for the last few years but one can't help fooling around with the others from time to time - a not uncommon phenomenon on these boards i gather.. :)

Good looking racquets! Could you give me a little insight on how the youtek and youtek ig compare? It would be really helpful, thanks.
Whars string you are using on the ig prestige. Im using max power 17 and gosen og sheep micro 50m/52c. just getting ideas if you dont mind.

My current rackets... Minus 2 XT Speed Pro that will likely be up for sale shortly. Finally ended my search.
The Angells are TC97, 16x19, 320g 12pts HL, 27.25"
I love the predominantly all black frames. Also, hard to believe but the PS85 is the stiffest racket of the bunch!

TC97 is 320gr/12ptsHL ? Currently no such option at Angell web site.
Interesting...I ordered mine before the website was launched. I weighed them...right at 320g. I didn't check the balance before stringing. I'll have to do that in the future and see if its 10 vs 12 pts headlight.
Looks like the 320g/ 12 pts HL balance is gone for all the models.
