Spectre - sucked IMO

The actions scenes were obviously up to standard of any bond film, but the rest of the plot just seemed to be a randomly hashed together contrived mess.

Completely lacked the flow and style that made Casino Royale the best Bond movie ever.

However, it did have the best opening credits of any bond film, that song works really well.

I rewatched Gone Girl last night (recommend it to anyone who hasn't seen it + the book is good)

Dat box-cutter scene still gets me, never gets old

HORRIBLE MOVIE...

Tomorrowland/Sicario - Both decent, both suffered from not quite knowing what they wanted to be (serious message movie or entertainment).

Jurassic World - So much wrong with this film, but I really enjoyed it.

Spectre - Good, but a lesser Skyfall. Is it just me or is this film very "brown"?

Blow Out - De Palma/Travolta classic. Better than Blow Up, not as good as The Conversation.

Damn,I should really give The Conversation another spin. It's the sort of movie I should really enjoy, but it never clicked with me for some reason.

Swimming To Cambodia (1987) - Pretty much just an 80 min monologue on film, was quite entertaining though...

Saw The Peanuts Movie. About 5 minutes into the film Irealized this is a movie out of another time- that lacks any connection to most ov the audience. The children were bored and running up the aisles in their flashing sneakers- adults were in full snooze.

For me any Bond movie with Craig is a failure. He is not James Bond, just a humorless ******** that always seems angry with everything. That's way I didn't watch any bond movie with him after Cassino Royale (with was a great movie, bot not a Bond movie for me)

He's actually a lot more James Bond-ish in Spectre. He's finally got into the role. You should give it a shot because I was in the same boat as you.

I can't get over the gratituous tuxedo scene. They are in the dinning car of a freaking train. And then the kissing scenes, suddenly they drop everything to make out as if they just remember "oh, sh*t" we forget to kiss. Lol.

James Bond - Spectre.. (2015).

The latest Bond is also probably Craig's weakest showing as 007. This film is ridiculously overhyped for something so underwhelming.

The Sam Smith theme song however is total class, a truly great Bond theme for the ages.

Quantum of Solace was a lot worse. I agree that Casino Royale (the best) and Skyfall were much better Craig films though.

Quite good actually. Scarlett in Woody's movie seems to work all the time.

Actually, yeah, Quantam was probably worse.

Still, the amusing thing about this film is the vitriol directed at Sam Smith's theme song. I though Adele's song for Skyfall was utter rubbish, lauded mostly I assumed because everyone was on the Adele bandwagon. I am surprised to read the comparisons. For me his effort comprehensively trumps hers all-round for songwriting, composition and singing combined (even if she is arguably a better singer).

Yes. I felt like they tried to satisfy every type of fan by forcing in these scenes and ended up satisfying almost no one.
Overall it was very muted. How can a car chase in Rome be boring? Well, they found a way!

I think the girl did a good acting job with what she had to work with.

Can't believe everyone is going on about the Bond movie, did anyone actually expect it to be any good? The Stars Wars movie will have even more hype and be an even worse movie.

You Can Count On Me (2000) Excellent family drama

Watched two action movies: Ninja assassin and Robocop 2. That's a great example of how crappy it is Rotten tomatoes overall score. The first averages 26% while the second 32%, yet the second is infinitely superior. Watched also Wicked Blood about a girl how lives with his uncle, who works producing amphetamines for another uncle of her who is the criminal leader of the region. The movie wasn't anything special, but I think the girl, Abigail Breslin, shows quite a potential.
