Saw that he's in Mallorca practicing with Nadal at his academy. He was practicing with a Wilson but it wasn't the PS97S paint job. It has what from what I could see white Wilson on the side and white at 3&9. Is this the new Wilson PS97S CV?

Wilson recycling paint jobs from the past.

Wilson used to have great design teams. If they are suitable solutions, I would prefer retreads of their past glories in lieu of garish new designs like "limited edition" blade and burn cosmetics they had for clay season and also the white ceramic monstrocity they lumbered Federer with to celebrate his historic Wimbledon.

If this is Dimis real frame released I have to admit wilson is killing it and leaving head and babs in the dust in terms of what fans want.
(Despite crappy matte pj usage )

Agreed. Transparency and simplicity are a quick way to sustained success -- @Wilson Official seems to be trending that way

Look at the guitar industry as an example of this methodology/strategy for consumer loyalty:

Gibson (Les Paul, SG, ES series)
Fender (Stratocaster, telecaster, jazzmaster, etc)

They keep what works and make the consumer pay an added premium for what their "heroes" use

@Babolat Official is more transparent then most, and does a great job at keeping the same core offerings (oure drive, aero, strike)

@HEAD Penn Official is far from transparent and has continued a downward spiral

I guess a fitting analogy would be if guitar companies tried to pass off a Squier as a Fender

Do people even take @HEAD Penn Official seriously anymore? I'd put him/her in there with some of the GPPD greats.

I'm pretty sure that it will be the same PS97S he uses but with a special pjob, just like the inverted Blade and Burn..

At this rate we should expect a dimitrov spec frame. The ultra/h19 mould is a great step in the right direction
In celebration of all his huge wins?

I have backed/defended him - but even I'm growing weary. Just doesn't seem willing/able to play % tennis and wait for a better ball. He should sit down and watch the Murray match at Wimbledon 2014 match over and over and over and over and over.

It's not really about him, as it is about his spec.

The return of scapel - a thin beam pro staff with a modernish beam width and slightly larger head (93), could be a real fun stick to play doubles with, slice backhands, etc.

Grigor in no realm of existence deserves an auto frame -- let's make that clear

IMO, Wilson missed out by not marketing Pete more. We all remember the KPS88, but where's the Pete Sampras autograph? I mean the dude did win 14 majors.

Already got a serena autograph and roger autograph. Obviously grigor isnt at that level but hes a poster boy so maybe we will see same racket lighter weight, hopefully with an h19 around the same time

it might be that new Prostaff line they are putting out in September. These are supposed to be more Powerful on serves and give you more ability to hit kick spin
