New Phantom Rackets?

We have the Phantom 100 out currently. If I am not mistaken the Phantom Pro 100 is coming out in early 2018? Will we also be seeing the Phantom Pro 100p at some point? There's talk of it on the boards as it is being released at TW Europe.

Yes, both racquets will be launching in early January. There is no official launch date yet but stay tuned. I will update this thread as soon as I have a date.

Yes we have hit both extensively. I'm a big fan of the Pro 100P as it has a box beam design and reminds me of a cross between the Graphite Classic 100 and the Diablo Tour MP (although that racquet was slightly longer at 27.25in). The Pro 100 is a version of the current Phantom but without ports. It plays with great flex, lots of control/feel and I can get some really nice spin with it, too.

We will be reviewing both.

Any initial thoughts on the differences in how the two play? :)

Yes. The 100P has a feel similar to the Graphites and other box beam classic racquets. The Pro 100 feels very similar to the O3 Phantom, but with the feel of a solid beam racquet. It still feels very soft and plush, but I feel a bit more connected from the traditional grommet/solid beam design.

Both come around nice and fast. I get great spin with them, which I feel is a combo of the maneuverability, string pattern, head shape, head size and thin beam. The result for me was fast feeling racquets with generous spin windows.

I have always enjoyed the Prince box beams. Diablo Mid is my favorite feeling racquet of all time, but I had a tough time winning with it. POG LB was another great one,

So when is the Phantom Pro 100 LB coming out :) Box beam, 27.5", 325-330 sw, 320-325 grams? Yes please?

Do you guys know when you will have reviews up? Many of us loved the PCG 100 which obtained a "cult following" but is now out of production. :( Would love to see how the Textreme Phantom Pro 100P compares. I played the Diablo mid as well. Thanks for bringing Prince back to us. :)

I can explain that. It was my fault. The racquets were expected to arrive later in the week (and arrived early). We weren't sure when we were going to launch them and I didn't want to get people's hopes up so I erred on the safer side. With all the buzz, we decided to launch them as soon as possible. Sorry for any confusion that caused.

@mjwtpro1,

Reviews will be up mid to late January.
