Prestige Mid to become the racquet of the 2020s.

Last year I tried the 93P and was relatively disappointed as it lacked plow in my opinion...so i was a little worried by the playtest of this prestige mid
I tested it on serve a couple of days ago and was impressed by its precision though
Today against a 5.5 player, i can already say it did not disappoint !
Plowthrough, topspin, backspin, precision of course, stability....whatelse ?
At net, almost perfect, stable, manœuvrable, drop shots are incredible...it's only surpassed by the RF 97 but not by a mile, it's in fact the only racquet (with the Federer) i was perfectly comfortable with at net
Could I switch ? Very much possible, i wanted to test the clash 98 for fun but is it necessary ?
Now comes the string ''problem'' : i am used to cyclone 16, maybe a softer one would better pair this really great racquet

Thanks! Bloody Q-Tip I believe is the technical name for the paint job. I use the spin version so was hoping they were those.

I have 3 and some grommet sets. I loved that frame but I can’t go back to it.

What are Mid users take on the launch angle? Maybe I’ve been hitting through the ball more instead of top spin. Have been noticing a lower launch angle. Maybe close to 18/20 launch angle

Why can’t you go back?

Moved on. I think back to those days and really enjoyed the flex of that one. But my wife is great so I have no complaints. What are we discussing?

Oh - the 95s. Man that thing felt good but when I moved up I just felt handicapped against hard hitters. Went on a demo run that took me to the pure drive plus... that was too far but I enjoyed them for a year.

Sorry guys, been real busy last two days to put up the evidence, but Jolly and I had a good hit at his scenic club. Thanks for hosting bud!

The Prestige Mid does have the oomph and actually flexed and played a lot like my Pro Tour 2.0, but higher launching due to more open pattern, and not as mute-n-buttery in feel. I really didn't feel any head size difference switching between the two, this "Mid" felt more like a 95.

Finally a useful post here!(y)
Thanks to compare both.

Could it be the closest retail frame to PT57 16x19 ?

How does it fair in actual match play? Would you say that your able to pull out tough matches with it? “I already lost the first set and was down 1-4 in the second with my ____ racquet, then I picked up the 360+Mid and won the second set and the tiebreak.”

I bet all the lame misogynistic memes in the world doesnt make the Prestige Mid "the racquet of the 2020s!"

I’ve been hitting with the mid all week and am playing some excellent tennis with it. This thing just destroys the ball and I’m excited to keep playing with it and sharing my thoughts. Unfortunately I’ve been having some loose buttcap issues on all three of my frames, especially noticeable on my ohbh. This isn’t the first racquet to give me problems like this, some batches of frames on the production line seem to get penetrated deeper than others, and I guess my whippy one hander can really loosen a shoddily installed buttcap fast. Anyways I decided to remove the buttcap completely from one of my frames and noticed that it’s got a small metal weight inside of it which adds an additional 6g. I know @J011yroger swapped his buttcaps in favor or Wilson’s, were yours weighted as well when you removed them?

Misogyny, by definition, refers to the hatred of women.
There's plenty of objectification of women in this thread, but I don't see any hatred. Quite the opposite in fact. Progressive man-hating leftists are trying desperately to redefine the term the way you've used it, but that doesn't make it so.
Ergo, I reject the very premise of your claim.

Since you couldnt quite help yourself...

#1: I find photos comparing tennis racquets to perceived attractiveness or body attributes of women tacky and unnecessary.

#2: Your use of the term "Progressive man-hating leftists" says everything about you. I'm here for the tennis gear talk, not political debates.

I've made my point and that's that.
