Great topic! Do I have all day, lol! Where do I begin! I'll make it short & sweet.

Basically EVERY Agassi shoe!! Every single one!! But for the topic, I'll post the few I definitely want as priorities!

#1 Nike Air Tech Challenge I!! The original! In the green and orange! Nike, follow your own dang slogan and "JUST DO IT"!!! There are so many of us Agassi nuts on the sneaker forums who want this shoe!! If it came out, like the original (or if you need to, use the II tooling and have a visible air unit. I don't care, if it gets me the ATC I sooner!!) I would buy 3 pairs at retail upon it's release! And one would be used on court!

#1A Nike Air Tech Challenge IV 3/4...sold here not only overseas!! Yes, they released this back about 4 years ago. I was lucky enough to grab a pair from a Nike retailer in Italy. But to release this shoe, in the OG Cerise color way, and not sell it here was downright stupidity idiotic!! Release it again and while you have the Cerise color, also release the "Marina" blue color way (The "Not Ginger" color from the ads back then).

#2: Nike Air Challenge LWP!! In ALL 4 OG colors!! My favorite (which I still have and wear) is the black/dark teal! One of the best shoes!!

#3 Nike Air Pounce! Such a stable fast shoe. Felt like I could track down anything on the court.

#4 Nike Air Zoom Beyond (The FO colorway). Had 2 pairs and LOVED them!! Such a supportive shoe!

#5 Zoom Challenge (the Olympics and US Open shoe). Awesome under foot cushioning and the carbon weave at the back in the blue with his "A" logo... AWESOME!!

These are the ones I want to see return before any others. Nike, once you see just how well his '90 Challenge Court clothing will sell (and believe me, it's gonna sell like HOTCAKES) you better keep doing it and release some shoes with the next launch!!!

Oh, and also, Reebok, redo the Pump Court Victory. Still have my 2 pairs of OG colors of the retros and one of the II version. These need to come back as well

And lastly, All of Guga's Diadora high tops!

Adidas barricade 7.0’s are my absolute favorite tennis shoe. Lucky if I’m able to still find them online in my size. First shoe I used when I started playing tennis.

I like the rotation bud. Since I don't have a photo host, I don't post pics. But in the Agassi thread on Niketalk I posted my old Agassi shoes when he was still playing. All are still wearable (Flare, Pounce, Alarm, Ablaze, Zoom Challenge I & II, Assailant, Beyond, LWP). I love them all. Plus I got 9 pairs of the ATC IIs. Lava in 2008 x2, 2014, 2019 & 2020 black lava. Tarts, Pixels, Poison Green, and the French Open pair. Plus the newest ATC III with the flaming ball and the foreign release ATC IV!

I had a pair of the 3rd from the top (white/neon yellow/black). Wore it for several years in Junior High/High School. Great Tennis shoes, fit my wide quirky feet (unlike modern Nikes). It seemed to weight a ton. It took a decade plus to break down enough to have to toss. Alas...

The original Barricade 7, as goofy looking as they were, were the best quality, comfort, support and value for me. The materials were really high quality. Perfect fit straight out of the box.

I never had a pair and when they retroed the Chlorophyll color way, it always sells out. It's been years since they released it and they need to. I do have a pair of the Zoom Trainer 1s in the same color way. Great update.
Speaking of updates: it would be amazing if nike brought back all these shoes and replace the PU midsole with Phylon. The PU falls apart in time and that's heart breaking....

Yup. Adidas' Novak shoe, the CC Genius. Lotto Raptor IV. Nike CB 3.3. Great shoes, all discontinued. Had to look for something else after each was gone, and it took until the Zoom Zero for me to find something I really like. Now the ZZ is gone... well, once they run out. I guess I should stock up.

I found a pair of the middle ones recently tucked away in the closet. Never been worn, I remember buying them at a deep discount. The white with blue colorway Nadal wore at Wimbledon. Comfortable and cushiony, but a clunky and awkward on the court for me.
As most durability shoes are sometimes, I hate how heavy the new cage is. Why not try to keep that 13.0 oz weight with the 3?

Ah Adidas Barricade not heard that in years!! I always thought they looked good personally

The Wilson Pro-Staff Classic mesh. I was hoping to die and be buried in these and then they killed them off and cheapened the insides. I've heard they reissued the leather version. They were a great shoe, with a classic look but had some modern look to them too. Good price about $60.

After they killed them off I had to start experimenting with finding the "new" shoe--I now have a closet full of barely used shoes from K-Swiss, adidas, and Acis, (still don't know how to spell Aciscs--it shouldn't be that hard). I've settled in on the Ascis, because they're light and have a consistent foot-bed from model to model and don't need to be broken in. If Wilson brings back the Classic Mesh's I'll give 'em another try as long as they haven't cheapened the inside construction as they did when they killed them off--they were probably cutting into sales of new shoes at half the price.

I can remember when tennis shoe choices were simple : Wilson's for $8, Jack Purcells for $12 and then those new to our shores shoes from England, Dunlops with green trim. Then all hell broke loose with shoes in all different colors and models going out of style every season--life was simpler back then. I've got enough "experimentals" in the closet to last me a lifetime, I've got to figure out how to get rid of them to some worthy tennis charity. I can't move anymore so I'll never wear them out--I used to always get a free pair when they had the six month wear out warranties.

Yeah I really miss all the early model Barricades.

Was so fun to have my feet torn to pieces and in constant pain from them (y)

Plantar fasciitis was the cherry on top.

To answer the OP I dont really miss the old shoes. Each year they seem to improve imo.

I would love the Air Max Breathe Free II, III, Air Max Breathe Cage, and AMBCII. Basically anything before the Court Ballistecs line. Don’t get me wrong, the CB line is second to none, but nothing beats the OG.

Before clicking the link I got a mental picture of these. They were EVERYWHERE for a while. My local racquet-club director played with them and they are burned into my memory on his feet.

My choices are the Vapor 9.5, Cage 2, and ATCIII (had the originals when I was 9).

I sorta think the CourtBallistec 2.3 are the spiritual successor to the ATCIII.

Barricade 7.0 are cool but I was never an Adidas guy.

I do like the LB1.5 but I can't play in them, really dislike the way they crease at the toe...really uncomfortable for me.

What do you mean? I love my LBs. I also know quite a few people who did actually. I even prefer them over my CB 4.3 in fact.
Yes agreed..Court Ballistic 4.3 were heavier and clunkier in my opinion. I loved my Lunar Ballistic 1.5 too.. stiffer ride but felt so much faster on court and more durable too (even though they both came with 6 month durability warranty so no biggie)..

My GOAT shoe is Vapor 9 all day.

I’ve just heard the leather creases and things like that. I’m pretty sure I was wearing K-Swiss and New Balance dad shoes back then.

Yeah, definitely it does crease and that is because it lacks mesh in the uppers. Shoes with mesh don't get crease marks and this one does. But honestly every shoe does that for me to an extent (probably because I'm on my toes a lot) so I didn't find it unusual, and the creasing doesn't affect performance.

LqwlCP6.jpg

This is my third pair of LB that I have had. Not my main shoe so this hasn't got the usual wear but the other two pairs I had showed wear at the soles in the forefoot area towards the ball of the foot, and medial sides of both toe boxes since I drag my toes. I've never had any other issues with them. I've had Barricades and SCB with more bunched up uppers and in worse condition than this honestly.

The worse culprit for creasing I have seen was Barricade Mustachio edition I purchased from TW. Look it up if you don't know about it. Cool shoe. It was a limited edition run by Adidas in late 2016. Full grain brown leather construction. That thing looked terrible after the very first session though, like beat up oxford shoe top. Creases galore.

The truly biggest issue with these LB 1.5 if you ask me was the lack of ventilation due to the lack of mesh I mentioned. They breathe pretty bad. Feet feel like hot lava if you play in super hot conditions.

I love both 9s and 9.5s. Zoom Vapor Tour LE 9 Savile Row is my favorite vapor of all time. I still rue the day I didn't pull the trigger for it when I had the chance.

My 3 GOAT shoes are the Lotto Raptor IVs, Adidas Barricade 7s and the Asics Gel Resolution 6s. Unfortunately, the Raptor and Barricade lines have ended and I never gelled with the fit of the Gel Resolution 7s or 8s. Of current offerings, I like the Kswiss Ultrashot 2 the most - solid shoe all around with good comfort and performance - although I would put these a notch below my top 3.
