Who can displace him after 4 April, Rafa?Djokovic has mathematically secured 314 weeks at number 1
The earliest he could lose the number 1 ranking is after Miami, April 4th
Wow, that's HUGE.Djokovic has mathematically secured 314 weeks at number 1

He had the record secured, but after Nadal's match he is now certain to retain #1 EVEN IF THE POINTS DROPPED.
So basically no talk that he would have been surpassed by Nadal in case he lost early and Nadal won.
The heavyweight champion doing some heavyweight champion things @Hitman.The greatest ever world number one. Incredible.

I've been around, just not enough interesting tennis to comment onWelcome back!
You know there is a thread coming on this from me....citizens of Earth have their greatest world number one in history watching over them while they sleep tonight.
Why 330? You surely don't think Federer's got a chance of getting it back do you?!Awesome. This is a great point and glad you pointed it out. My only question is, can he reach around 330? That would put it out of reach for a very long time I think.

Yes, this is what I wanted. He had the record secured, but after Nadal's match he is now certain to retain #1 EVEN IF THE POINTS DROPPED.

Nothing personal, but I don't want a shirt ripping guy who hurts lines personell and yell at ball boys watching over me.
I prefer God. He's my man.
Congrats to Novak on a superb achievement as a tennis player!

Stop the count
Just thinking about the next dominant champ down the line. I want him to make it harder for them to catch it. Lol.
The question is, will he got to 400? That will be a difficult one. 350 weeks at No. 1 is very likely.
I think he can reach 350. 400 I feel may be a bit out of reach.
Agreed. Djokovic 350 weeks Vs Federer 310 weeks. Some Federer fans said in order to consider it a significant achievement, Djokovic will not just need to break the record but break it by a big margin. I think 40 weeks is a rather significant difference.
Actually I agree with them. I think if Djokovic finishes around 310-330 they are similar. 350+ he clearly sets himself apart.Agreed. Djokovic 350 weeks Vs Federer 310 weeks. Yea that would be a pretty nice difference.

I expect when he is done, he will be at 400-450 weeks. He’s a lock for AO/Wimbledon for at least 2 more years, which should be enough for his 8th YE#1 and 400 weeks +
I saw a Sunny movie a few years ago. Ghatak. Have you seen it? A seriously bad @$$ movie, especially when he does those cage fights.

How high can he set the bar, I wonder? 400 weeks a possibility? It's possible a new #1 could arise this year, but he has a pretty solid lead right now.
Why? It can be even more if we don't have some Novak like 2011 miracle... It's so hard to be consistent in tennis... That why we have more slam winners than no1's...I think he can reach 350. 400 I feel may be a bit out of reach.
And you take Fed fans words seriously? Loool...Agreed. Djokovic 350 weeks Vs Federer 310 weeks. He "just" has to be little more consistent than others... The gap is narrowing, but it's do hard for one player to be so consistent... Anyway, it's do hard to predict, but history learnt me that Novak consistent is great (now confirmed best ever)...Yea but that's like 1 year and 8 months. I don't think he can hold it that long since the gap is closing now and younger players are getting better, plus he's going to slow down.
