Well that post ends that debate.Hewitt has 80 weeks as 1 while Becker was rank 1 for just 12 weeks.
So these sort of meaningless records don't matter.

Ye1 probably. As the weeks debate is kind of murky unless it is just somethin astounding like 237 consecutive weeks.Do you value weeks at no.1 more than YE1? I prefer YE1 as i like the idea players fight for it. It was a huge deal in 80s and 90s but actually seems less an issue nowadays.
This post above of yours literally silenced all djokovic fans.Hewitt has 80 weeks as 1 while Becker was rank 1 for just 12 weeks.
So these sort of meaningless records don't matter.
Federer is clearly the most consistent and best No.1 we have seen along with Sampras.Ye1 probably. As the weeks debate is kind of murky unless it is just somethin astounding like 237 consecutive weeks.
Amazing movie! One of my favorites.Exactly. This subject was dealt with in some detail in the fantastic movie Shutter Island.
Another proof of weak era.Ye1 probably. As the weeks debate is kind of murky unless it is just somethin astounding like 237 consecutive weeks.
Djokovic only got to no.1 once Federer was over 30. Bottom line is Djokovic never got through the Federer and later The Nadal glass ceiling.Another proof of weak era.
It is not Djokers fault. He cant help that he gained all his weeks in the weakest era of all time.Another proof of weak era.
Med’s challenge is it’s hard to pick up points when you can’t win a match on clay (and very few on grass).Could surpass Fed by an eternity too.
Medvedev has shown he can put very long streaks together including dominance over top-ten opposition but still can't get over the line in the Slams, and he is already 25 and probably close to his peak. He's one potential general threat to Djokovic's #1 status, but it's hard to see him getting too much in the way without actually bagging Slams. Maybe just a bit in the way, and snatching the #1 ranking for a short time.
So that leaves Nadal as the main roadblock to Djokovic for #1 ranking stats. He might be able to bag YE#1 again this year or next because of his absurd clay hauls when he dominates that season, which is most years.
I don't see why Djokovic won't reach 397+ weeks.
Yes he had 237 weeks in a row during weak era. *eyerolls*It is not Djokers fault. He cant help that he gained all his weeks in the weakest era of all time.
Dont worry, one day Djoker will finally beat a great player younger than him... once he is 40...Yes he had 237 weeks in a row during weak era. *eyerolls*
I have never actually looked too hard into Djokovics resume outside slam count. But the threads by his fanatics this last week has led me to look more closely at when he has racked up his numbers and frankly he is not as great as i thought he was. Look carefully and the vast majority of his majors are when Federer was old and Nadal injured or out of form (2015-2016). 2011 was his only actually truly great year.It is not Djokers fault. He cant help that he gained all his weeks in the weakest era of all time.
Federer is the one having problems with youngsters.Dont worry, one day Djoker will finally beat a great player younger than him... once he is 40...

You are spot on.
Because the youngsters are almost half his age... Djoker has NEVER played a great player younger than him... EVER!Federer is the one having problems with youngsters.
You don’t know that yet. When Fed played Djokovic at USO 2007 - nobody knew he would become even greater than Fed himself, so calm your horses.Because the youngsters are almost half his age... Djoker has NEVER played a great player younger than him... EVER!
Ill have a bet with you. If, which is in vogue these days, Djokovic plays Sinner at FO ill bet Sinner takes him out and in 4 sets.Because the youngsters are almost half his age... Djoker has NEVER played a great player younger than him... EVER!
Greater than Federer? 18-20 is it not?You don’t know that yet. When Fed played Djokovic at USO 2007 - nobody knew he would become even greater than Fed himself, so calm your horses.
Djoker had 4 slam wins by the age of 23 and 6 slam appearances. Thiem is almost 28 and Med is 25 and they have combined for a half a slam title. You don’t know that yet. When Fed played Djokovic at USO 2007 - nobody knew he would become even greater than Fed himself, so calm your horses.
hahahhahaha, there is ZERO chance of that happening, but if it does, I will change my signature and admit to @CYGS that this is a strong era now...Ill have a bet with you. If, which is in vogue these days, Djokovic plays Sinner at FO ill bet Sinner takes him out and in 4 sets.
Amazing movie!One of my favorites.
So? He also wins 9 slams after turning 27 - players enter primes later nowadays. I don’t see you screaming like a desperate housewife when Fed won everything during 2003-2007. Hypocrite.Djoker had 4 slam wins by the age of 23 and 6 slam appearances. Thiem is almost 28 and Med is 25 and they have combined for a half a slam title.
No one else is even threatening winning a slam...
Sinner is not a mental midget i do not think like current Next Gen. The Sinner generation i think will win Majors.hahahhahaha, there is ZERO chance of that happening, but if it does, I will change my signature and admit to @CYGS that this is a strong era now...
Armageddon !Next week is
Sorry but if your slams come after the big 3 are 34/35/40, you did not pass them, they just got old.So? He also wins 9 slams after turning 27 - players enter primes later nowadays. I don’t see you screaming like a desperate housewife when Fed won everything during 2003-2007. Hypocrite.
Well tennis doesn’t care about your feelings or arbitrary age cutoffSorry but if your slams come after the big 3 are 34/35/40, you did not pass them, they just got old.
Djoker has never beat a great player younger than him. It is not like Djoker is 26, he is 33. Even if not ATG's, great players should have arisen who are in their late twenties.
He just did one week ago.Djoker has never beat a great player younger than him.

No, but stats dont lie. Med is not a great player. 2 slam appearances at the age of 25 and nothing to show for it. Highest ranking of 3, and never reached the second round at FO or the fourth at WC. Good player, but not great, and definately not near ATG status potential. He just did one week ago.
! Real one.
21-10No, but stats dont lie. Med is not a great player. 2 slam appearances at the age of 25 and nothing to show for it. Highest ranking of 3, and never reached the second round at FO or the fourth at WC. Good player, but not great, and definately not near ATG status potential.
You know why he has not? Because there is NONE!Sorry but if your slams come after the big 3 are 34/35/40, you did not pass them, they just got old.

This year golden GS and there you have 21. All done in 2021Well now the weeks at No. 1 record is done and dusted and Djokovic looks well on his way to 350 weeks!
Next up, the slams record. I want one of Nadal or Djokovic (or both if they can manage it!) to get to 25 slams! Personally I'll be satisfied with 21 but again the argument that they didn't raise the bar high enough. For that reason, I want one of them to get 25 slams please.
20>1821-10
Stats don’t lie, and Djokovic’s slam count adjusted by age is higher than Federer.20>18
Nobody cares about your 21-10 math problem. It is like the 40-15 math problem... meaningless.
Did you say that out loud?Stats don’t lie, and Djokovic’s slam count adjusted by age is higher than Federer.
Yet very painful, very very painful.20>18
Nobody cares about your 21-10 math problem. It is like the 40-15 math problem... meaningless.
Djokovic at 33 has 18 vs. Federer’s 17 is a fact. You’re pathetic and illiterate.Did you say that out loud?
In come the HYPOTHETICAL Djoker train... toot toot!!!
Age does not matter remember?Djokovic at 33 has 18 vs. Federer’s 17 is a fact. You’re pathetic and illiterate.
Beating peak oldies again eh?Stan at the AO 13 and FO 15 was legit ATG level.
So while Djokovic never faced younger ATGs, he faced an anomaly such as the peak Oldrinka.
He was an anomaly. Watch his matches again and forget about the age thing for a moment.Beating peak oldies again eh?
