OP: Both are excellent, fully-playable rackets. The VCore 100 is a lot more user friendly, but the 98 can do more damage in the right hands.

You could save yourself a ton of trouble and copy your opponent's serve style. Whatever it is that you're trying to do on that shot is not working at all. Your forehand looks fine. Work on getting more reliable contact on backhands. Try to keep the same technique on each shot. 3.0 or...

Honestly, I think his serve is incredibly difficult to do correctly. I think some of those big power server mechanics are much easier to learn, but less pretty.
