The thing is that many times we heard that Fed is the "darling" of organizers, yet they slowed down the AO and the USO right when his biggest rivals were peaking.They sped up the USO again in 2020, when Fed was not relevant anymore.Not saying it was a conspiracy or something, but it just shows that the favoritism was not exactly towards Federer

This makes me think of how clutch was Federer at USO 2007. Roddick and Djokovic BOTH lost in STRAIGHTS when they played two brilliant sets each, in Djokovic's case he actually did pretty well in the 3rd too.

He was also very clutch at Wimbledon that year and the AO final's first set. The opposite was RG's final.

Fed was very clutch in the Roddick match but part of that Djokovic match was down to Novak choking. Clutch or not, Federer really shouldn’t have won the first set. The second set was a better exhibition of Fed’s clutch prowess and ability to raise his game in tight situations, which he continued in the third set to stamp Djokovic out of it completely.

I wouldn't favor him against any of them.

Best chance out of the 3 would be against Nadal probably.

I think the matches would be close based on the way Roddick played that day but you have to give those guys the edge because they would play the big points better.

It would also depend on if Roddick is able to snatch one of the first 2 sets. If he's able to do that, he could push to 5 instead of going down in 3.
