They've only met once before which was earlier this year in Estoril, Stefanos overcoming a 1st set deficit and winning in three sets.

Anderson destroyed Dimitrov in convincing fashion while Tsitsipas's amazing run continues, saving 2 MPs against Zverev in the previous round. Fatigue will possibly play an important part in this one.

It will be a first Masters final for either guy, who comes through in this one?

Tsitsipa's iffy return might be exposed by Anderson.

MeThinks Anderson takes a good lead in this match and finished it off unless he chokes of course.

Tsitsipas looked pretty wasted at the end of his match with Zverev. His first serve was off and his second serve was honestly awful. If he doesn’t play to the level he did against Thiem and Djokovic, Anderson will go through him like bad chicken.

People are sleeping on Anderson big time. He's brought his Wimbledon game here in Toronto and has been playing Top 5 level. Go look at Dimitrov's post match interview after his loss yesterday. Anderson was redlining throughout the match, didnt give Dimitrov a sniff. Anderson could end up beating Nadal in the finals if he holds it together mentally

I agree Anderson is a huge favorite today and that he has a chance to beat Nadal in the final.

Overall though if he's top 5 level it's also because the standard for top 5 level has decreased in the last few years.

That is true, but he's only playing the field in front of him, and beating them. Dude has been hard at work for some years. He deserves this

I agree. I was thinking, wow - Anderson is really playing well here. Grigor was firmly outplayed. Anderson has always had a big game, but I think he is starting to realise he actually has a chance against the top dogs if he stays composed and aggressive. His mindset is key, and it has been fatalistic earlier in his career, but he is now becoming clutcher. Think he will be strong this autumn.

Yeah he always had the game but was never able to put t together in the big matches. Even in last year's USO final, I thought he underplayed (still think Nadal was winning that one). But he's played enough on the biggest stage and has got enough experience that I truly think he is ready. He may get beaten but he wont fold

Anderson would be the favorite but I hope Tsitsipas wins for the sake of the future of tennis.
Tsitsipas winning would be a great story but I honestly think Anderson will throttle him the way he has been playing. Anderson winning the whole thing would also be a great story. It’s nice to see some different guys holding trophies. Anderson has worked hard to get to this level. I was not really a fan of his but I’ve been impressed with him recently. He has really worked on his mental game and it has paid off. Even if he meets Nadal in the final I think he won’t fold this time.

One thing Tsitsipas did quit well yesterday, I thought, was just blocking returns Federer style. Hoping that he can do the same today. Anderson to win though probably.

Anderson is so boring and one dimensional. He just goes cross court with the BH, no matter what, time and time again.

Why? Dimitrov has blown all year. When he lost to Edmund at the AO, I knew his year would turn out to be deplorable.
I don't know, I still see Dimitrov as better, Dimitrov is just so incocistent, can win a GS, and lose to No. 352 in next match

Stefanos is playing in Toronto the way Shapovalov played in Montreal last year. Over his ranking! The question is, can he sustain this?
