Let's see if that's really the case :D

Who knows, like I said before, seems impossible to know who will win :p

I said good switch to him/her mostly because he/she is a Nadal fan, and it is even better to win these kind of titles when the player you are a fan of it's the champion. Although that can be a double disappointment as well if the player you're a fan of loses in the final. I know that feeling after I picked Murray for the final of RG 2016 and lost in 4 sets

If only you'd managed to snag the Olympic Gold (great SDL and genunine moment, that one) :p
One of the unbeaten streaks will have to end on Sunday and there is actually a fair bit of hype around this one

Thanks to Ferrer (if I'm not wrong) losing to an underdog I didn't have a chance at any medal. My first title was a tournament that Murray won at least

Now after winning Wimbledon my goal in this game is to win a masters 1000 or the tour finals, another grand slam would be nice but I think this year I'll have a better chance at the tournaments I mentioned. I have to win one of those before I stop playing this game!!

Djokovic has been kind to me at the AO. My only two ATP SDL majors are courtesy of him (only other time I've reached a final, he was less than generous, blowing RG to Nadal).
Congratulations to fellow winners.
Commiserations to runners-up.

Thanks for organising.

As part of my formal post-Slam wrap:

Congratulations to you and our fellow winner @plays tennis - for you I make that SDL Title #12, Slam Title #2 (both at AO), 8th title in a hardcourt tournament and 2nd title of 2019 already!
Title #4 for plays tennis: 1st Slam title, 2nd of 2019 as well
For me: Title #11, AO Title #2 and Slam Title #2, 10th hardcourt title - and I get to keep my streak of correct picks at the AO going
For what it's worth, we occupy the Top 3 spots in the Race in the early stages

I would like to credit this win to Pablo Carreno Busta, whose meltdown is probably directly responsible for the position we find ourselves in now :)

I would say I value the Title from a couple of years ago a bit more, but just happy with whatever I get

I'd say it means more - in that it's been a long, long time since I've been Top Ten. And when I won this in 2016 I'd recently been no.1 and won quite a few tournaments so it felt like a natural progression.
However, years in the wilderness followed :)
BUT, my attitude was far healthier than previously (l could spend hours deliberating over a pick). Madness.
So this is nicer, sane and lucky!
Oh so lucky!!
