lol, OK, now I feel like I should put a few benjamins on Liuda.

Seriously though, she's not exactly inconsistent - she's just very introverted and sensitive, and the situation of the past few months has been very hard on her. But she seems to be regaining her confidence- I feel like she's got this.

I don't know enough about PED's to comment, but she definitely has lost a lot of weight and plays as if she is possessed.

I mean, we're living in a world where friggen Vika Azarenka, who at this point is as American as Starbucks, has been denied entry into the uber-dystopian Davos-controlled nightmare known as Canada. And Samsonova had to apply 3 times for a VISA just to come play this tournament, which is especially ironic considering she hasn't lived a day of her life in Russia.

Still, it's more likely that these subdued celebrations are just due to their personality. Either way, Brava Lyuda, well done!
