I am hoping that Djokovic will win, but I think that his chances were better in Rome and MC.

Actually it is not a mistake. Djokovic is still #3 seed on this tournament.

You can edit the title by clicking on the advanced button in edit mode...

He didn't play well and still beat a top 10 player in straight sets. It will all come down to how much Rafa wants this title. The only chance anyone will beat him is if he wants to lose so he can rest a bit before the French. However, he reached the SF, so why would he want to lose?

Rafa in 2, if he was going to have a hiccup I thought it'd be vs Nando today (thought it might happen too in that second ><). The semi's is too close to the finishing line, I think he'll be well up for it.

Nadal has the cranky tired look he's had in miami this year, last years US Open and when he played in Hamburg 07. He ain't winning this tournament. I'll say Djokovic in 2 or 3.

Yup, agree with T&M, Nadal had that "beat me already so I can get out of here" look he gets sometimes, only Verdasco dug his heels deep and staunchly refused.

Dunno, Djoker looked good, but not unbeatable, he was beetching half of the time.

I'll settle for a good match, please, nothing like Nadal vs. Verdasco of today. Those two have played the best and the worst matches of the season. I had such hopes since their match in Rome made me think that a healthy Nando could push Rafa to come up with the goods...

Neither of them have looked good today. I am reading some posts questioning Nadal for a bad 2nd set but Djokovic hasn't looked good this week, he's probably tired.
The first set will be crucial. The home crowd factor might affect other players but Nadal always gives his best so it won't make any difference. The altitude is a more important factor and it helps Djokovic in this case, but it helps Nadal that Djokovic didn't rest last week.

Anyway this match means nothing for R.Garros in my opinion. Conditions in Madrid are really different and top players are not in their best form after so many weeks playing.

No he doesn't. Nadal looks just fine. Actually he didn't have enough practice due to yesterday being a surprise walkover. A tough match like that will definitely improve his game for tomorrow. Vamos!

Btw I'm one of the few that thinks that Nadal is better in altitude. It's just a tough adjustment to return to sea level (balls dropping short and etc.) Djokovic will have trouble with the high ball here as everyone has.

rafa in 3 sets :), doesnt matter if he is not playing that good, he is a beast on clay. djokovic will be disappointed once more, since it will be 0-9 on clay against rafa after the SF.

but then again, i would not really be surprised if djokovic causes an upset...

like andre agassi once said: 'u dont have to play great, u just have to play better than your opponent'.

Oops I clicked Djoker in three... don't get me wrong, I'd love for Djoker to finally pull off a win, but I think it's gonna be Nadal in 2.
