I want to know if anyone had any experience with both and has some input of how they compare.

I know the chances are very slim but I still think it is worth trying.

I want to know mostly how they compare in terms of power and control.

In this case there are another specs that have to be considered, like weight, beam thickness and flex.

Example: The Prostaff 90 x Six One 95 18x20 will have a different result than Prostaff 90 x Six one 95 team (18x20), or versus the Dunlop CX200 tour (18x20), or versus any prestige MP.

If they are close in all specs, and strung with the same string and tension, i do think the 90 will be lower powerd and more precise, and should swing faster.

I am going for the heaviest of each, such as Wilson Pro Staff six one 95 18x20 332 gr vs. Wilson six one 90 tour 339 gr.

Thanks a lot. I consider going for the smaller head.

I have both. The 90's are for fun and practice, they are super enjoyable and satisfying to use but it's tough to compete defensively with them. The 95 is a serious tool to use for matches.

My issue with the prostaff 90s was that i played great in the first set and then my game started to drop a lot form arm fatigue, it is indeed a fun racquet to swing.

I have played with both (Dunlop MW 200 18/20 and the Dunlop 100 AG or AG4D)
I wouldn't string them the same (tension for sure)
90s should feel faster, with a smaller sweet spot but you may be surprised that the difference in sweet spots is not as big a deal as you think.
As far as match play, return of serve, overheads and volleys where I pay a penalty for the smaller frame.
But they are sweet to hit with in practice settings.
Also consider a Angell TC90 with it's 16/18 pattern and 70RA

I have always played with both types of racquets, and they're both great in different ways. Everytime I swap between them, I get that "wow, this is awesome" effect. Going to a 90in 16x19 prostaff I really enjoy the easy power, increased spin and bite. When I swap to a Radical / Prestige / Pure Control 18x20, I enjoy the solid "thwack", control, comfort and the feeling that I can swing big. I end up playing with the frame for a few weeks and then usually swap. The cycle continues....and it's great.

This is a great feedback. So, as I understand from you, people like me who love the big swing, should stick with the 95 18x20.

For my tastes, it's hard to beat the plush, solid feeling of a flexible 18x20 "old-school" control oriented racquet. The first time I played with a Prestige had me hooked on this feeling. The longer I play tennis, the more I like the control racquets with this feel. I supply the power - no problem there. I swing big and hard, so I want the racquet to give me the feel and the control and comfort. The thing is, you just have to find a racquet that you like, have confidence in, and lets you play your best tennis. Rafa crushes the ball and has all the power in the world, but prefers a stiff, 16x19 power oriented stick and strings it with 15 gauge poly!! Go figure - seems to work for him! If you're like me, just keep trying racquets and buy all the ones you like and build your racquet empire and enjoy playing this great game.
