You missed the epicness and can't wait to see the King back in action
So do I. I already thought I saw the end of him in 2013, so everything from 2014 on was a bonus, but this time I think he can't rise again.I miss Roger.
I'll make up my mind only after I see him play a few more tournaments. So do I. I already thought I saw the end of him in 2013, so everything from 2014 on was a bonus, but this time I think he can't rise again.
No doubt that the tour needs Nadal.
Hoping for a cracking US Open.
Admit it - Djoko is GOAT, BOAT and pretty much everything.

I expect nothing, but I'd love to be surprised. Most of all I'd like to know what is causing his slump. How much of it is rust, how much age, and how much a loss of movement from the surgeries.I still haven't given up on the Maestro! I still believe he has one magical run left in him.. but then am an incurable optimist

It's true that when you reach a certain age, it's difficult to get it to rise again. So do I. I already thought I saw the end of him in 2013, so everything from 2014 on was a bonus, but this time I think he can't rise again.
Me too. I didn't even find it surprising, because 2013 Fed was still playing his usual eye-popping tennis but just didn't quite have the same physical edge. He could've continued the one-way decline and retired a year later, and he'd still be remembered as a legend. Instead he had a 2nd career. So do I. It's the unfortunate nature of his injury. Unlike torn ligaments that can be repaired meniscus is permanent, with arthroscopy only offering a temporary solution. He just cannot play enough matches needed to get in good shape to "rise again". We saw what happened at FO, and this is one of the most gentle surfaces. Hard courts are not that kind.So do I. I hope you are 100% wrong but fear you are 100% right. For so many years it seemed like he was so injury free. It's the unfortunate nature of his injury. Your alarms will be set for all his matches
No I'll watch when he gets to the quarters unless he comes up against one of the promising next gen before that round.
I missed seeing the annual Wimbledon denadalization, yes.
