That’s true, well I guess 200 points is still 200 points. But you would have double the number of points if you defend them.

With that BH?Tsitsipas is serious contender on slow clay. And I don’t like him.
It's immaterial whether Alcaraz says he's a Federer fan or not. I don't care who he is a fan of. I wish he would forge his own path because I find this copying of Rafa very irritating.Has Carlos at any time proclaimed himself to be the next Nadal? He admires Nadal, but he is a Federer fan. Carlos is forging his own path and he is doing well.
But you said there is no need to defend points now you are saying that 200 points is still 200 points. That’s true, well I guess 200 points is still 200 points.
No need to defend points if you can earn points back by winning other tournaments.
Cotorro is not Carlos Alcaraz's doctor. His doctor is Juanjo López. Sources:Ferrero OUT. Cotorro OUT. Get someone who can actually manage this kid’s schedule and make him use a proper racquet that’s heavy enough
Please post evidence that Alcaraz has proclaimed himself to be the next Fed.Has Carlos at any time proclaimed himself to be the next Nadal? He admires Nadal, but he is a Federer fan. Carlos is forging his own path and he is doing well.
Not technically an injury, but his most famous medical issue were hamstring muscle cramps in the 23' FO semifinal where they were tied 1-set all and he had all the momentum. Djokovic was going to lose that match.
Getting his racket customized isn't a problem for Alcaraz. He said last year that Babolat experts had been working closely with him for more than 10 years.how many of you here ecommend he change rackets or sring ?
Never said he aspired to be next Federer, I said he was an fan, an admirer. Please post evidence that Alcaraz has proclaimed himself to be the next Fed.
Surely Nadal won't mind Alcaraz and others taking on certrain traits, he does not strike me being mean. It's immaterial whether Alcaraz says he's a Federer fan or not. I don't care who he is a fan of. I wish he would forge his own path because I find this copying of Rafa very irritating.

So? Nadal is a hero and he looks up to Federer, which means he admires him. Don't split hair.Alcaraz said:
Why does it matter so much to you who Alcaraz looks up to?So? Nadal is a hero and he looks up to Federer, which means he admires him. Don't split hair.
Why are you sure about that?Surely Nadal won't mind Alcaraz and others taking on certrain traits, he does not strike me being mean.
I’m sure since we’ve all thought this about his racket that they must have, too, and that there’s something holding him back from it, e.g., feel, whatever. It seems like a no-brainer that would make him deadlier from the baseline without having to exert the pressure he does on his arm/elbow with the current swings he takes.Ferrero OUT. Cotorro OUT. It doesn't matter whether Carlos has ever said he wants to be the next Nadal or not. Actions speak louder than words.Has Carlos at any time proclaimed himself to be the next Nadal? He admires Nadal, but he is a Federer fan. Carlos is forging his own path and he is doing well.
Hes a two time defending champ playing on his most successful tournament, that too at homeWhy he was even playing Madrid?
Man wasn't RG should be important for him?Hes a two time defending champ playing on his most successful tournament, that too at home
I wonder what your problem is, Fed devotee. So? Nadal is a hero and he looks up to Federer, which means he admires him. Don't split hair.
Why are you so confrontational? In all the years I have followed Nadal he never once gave me reason to believe that he would shun a youngster as irritating just because certain practices were adopted by them. Why are you sure about that?
Never ever was devoted to Federer. The only problem is that no one can say anything or have an opinion and you or the clayqueen stand ready to discredit or shame. Am I really cheating readers? Am I allowed a sentence or 2 on this forum? Have I offenfed you or another poster or trash talked a player?I wonder what your problem is, Fed devotee.
You are just making things up and trying to defend the indefensible.Never ever was devoted to Federer. You are now second-guessing Nadal. I can't speak for Rafa but all I know is I find Acaraz immitating his habits cringe. Why are you so confrontational? You are weird picking fights with someone just because you can.You are now second-guessing Nadal. I can't speak for Rafa but all I know is I find Acaraz immitating his habits cringe.
It's you who started arguing & fighting! Post #90:Why are you so confrontational? In all the years I have followed Nadal he never once gave me reason to believe that he would shun a youngster as irritating just because certain practices were adopted by them.
You are delusional if you call #90 an argument or a fight. Sorry for intruding on your holy exclusive domain. I stand down. You are right as always. Peace. It's you who started arguing & fighting! Post #90:

lol The two whom you‘re going back and forth with will never accept any slight praise for anyone else or anything that could even possibly remotely seen as a pejorative directed at their god.You are delusional if you call #90 an argument or a fight. You are right. I am going to watch IPL now, my countryman, Faf du Plessis, is on now and I have a nice bottle of chenin blanc with my name on it. Thanks for the words of wisdom.lol The two whom you‘re going back and forth with will never accept any slight praise for anyone else or anything that could even possibly remotely seen as a pejorative directed at their god.
It's the other way around. The poster you quoted couldn't stand the phrase "Carlos ... If you want to be Nadal" and started convincing readers that Alcaraz is a fan of the poster's beloved player.lol The two whom you‘re going back and forth with will never accept any slight praise for anyone else or anything that could even possibly remotely seen as a pejorative directed at their god.

Yes, my dear ghost, I am famous for cheating the readers, as evidenced in post #90. What on earth do you think the Nadal floozels are doing on an Alcaraz thread?
Cotorro runs the entire operation. Do you seriously think he’s letting some second rate Murcian doctor do this by himself? He is the Godfather of the entire thing.Cotorro is not Carlos Alcaraz's doctor. His doctor is Juanjo López. Sources:
Dr.Angel Ruiz Cotorro is the director of the Medical Services of the Spanish Tennis Federation, that’s why he has been present at tournaments.
Dr.Angel Ruiz Cotorro is the head doctor of the teams providing medical care for Spanish tennis players (women & men) at GS tournaments, Olympics, Davis Cup and tennis tournaments taking place in Spain. He has also been Rafa's personal doctor since Rafa was 14 - 15 years old and is the head doctor for the medical team at Rafa's academy since 2022. You are wrong! Rafa recovered from the injury he sustained at the 2023 AO after undergoing arthroscopic surgery on his left psoas tendon at the beginning of June 2023. His doctors said that it would take about 5 months to recover after the surgery. The doctors were right.I think Cotorro has to be on the hot seat for his handling of Nadal btw. Almost 2 years ago with the first core injury and it still continues.
Cotorro has done a crap job and that is why Rafa and Carlos are still dealing with continuous injuries.Dr.Angel Ruiz Cotorro is the head doctor of the teams providing medical care for Spanish tennis players (women & men) at GS tournaments, Olympics, Davis Cup and tennis tournaments taking place in Spain. He sustained a new injury in Brisbane at the beginning of this year (similar to the injury he suffered the year before). After recovering from the Brisibne injury, he sustained an abdominal injury.
I wonder why you are trying to cheat readers.
please reread my post #90 and then see the quotes below. It's the other way around. The poster you quoted couldn't stand the phrase "Carlos ... If you want to be Nadal" and started convincing readers that Alcaraz is a fan of the poster's beloved player.
Cotorro has been a very good doctor for Rafa. I wonder why you keep repeating your lies. I repeat what I wrote in my previous post (because you apparently didn't understand what I wrote):Cotorro has done a crap job and that is why Rafa and Carlos are still dealing with continuous injuries.
You shouldn't have spammed the thread."I always say that my idol is Rafael Nadal but I really want to play like Roger Federer" - Carlos Alcaraz
Carlos Alcaraz recently expressed his wish to play like Roger Federer on the court even though his idol has always been fellow Spaniard Rafael Nadal.www.sportskeeda.comCarlos Alcaraz: "I always say that my idol is Rafael Nadal but I really want to play like Roger Federer"
Big difference @octobrina10 and @clayqueen. I rest my case.
Spam? What are you doing on an Alcaraz thread? I always visit your Nadal writings in a respectful way. You come here and accuse me and @Kralingen not knowing what we are talking about. Your obsessive hoarding of everything Nadal is quirky and sweet most of the time, but there are limits. You shouldn't have spammed the thread.
Novak played every master until 2016,rarely missed any and went deep every appearance. It would be interesting to know / compare the intensity of the ATP tour in 2006 compared to 2024.
I have a feeling the matches themselves and of course the physical preparation in the gyms all year around are waaay more intense nowadays. So more wear and tear on the players, and more niggles and injuries as a consequence
I replied to you in this thread because you mentioned Rafa:Spam? What are you doing on an Alcaraz thread?
I commented on misinformation about Rafa's doctor he posted....You come here and accuse me and @Kralingen not knowing what we are talking about. ...
Switch your allegiance in Rome to the Brat. It will be a short honeymoon since he'll probably lose second round.Sinner out, Raz out. Man I have no interest in Tennis rn.
BWEH!There's going to be a random one-hit-wonder winning this RG.
He has a golden opportunity here, I doubt he'll waste it.Switch your allegiance in Rome to the Brat. It will be a short honeymoon since he'll probably lose second round.
