What poly was she using in the mains before she started using gut?Once I get a better quality pic we can compare the throat. They are pretty distinctive.

Good job on the photo comparisons. That's quality work. I love this board! You all rock.
I can't believe she left her Si 100. All her best results were on that stick. She could just have had them paint over it, right? Oh .. Yonex doesn't do that, do they?
It's all the same racquet. Vcore 100S. The bakcked out racquet appears to be the same mold.Once I get a better quality pic we can compare the throat. They are pretty distinctive.

Actually on second look the 3 rackets may be the same, hard to tell.
If you look at each racquet that she has in her hand the throat is the same. The 3rd row of photos showing close ups of the throat are to show the differences in the throat of each model. Shes using the same racquet in all three pictures with a different pj in the first two rows.OH OH OH.. I was confused. I thought the third photos showing the throats, which are all different, was also a continuation of what she was using. I am not sure if that was meant to show the differences or to support the claim she's changed so much. Obviously in the second group of photos she has the same racquet.
Sorry about that. Very much confused.
Since Kerber, Garcia, and Hubert are playing with blacked out sticks I’m assuming Yonex has new pjs for the whole VCore lineYonex is about to release a new Vcore (replacement for Duel G)... or am I wrong about that?
This might just be the phase before the release of the new model, where the paint job has not arrived yet as they are not ready to show the new model and its look...

You might be right. We'll have to wait until Stan shows up to be completely sure. He's confirmed for Tie Break Tens in a few daysSince Kerber, Garcia, and Hubert are playing with blacked out sticks I’m assuming Yonex has new pjs for the whole VCore line

Yup. I just saw it. It's strange because Yonex used to release Stan's VCore pjob every 2 years (Tour 97 2012-Dec.2013 / Tour G: 2014-Dec.2015). Maybe they're going to release it along with the rest of the VCore family later this year, but in that case Stan should be playing with a blacked out racquet. Something doesn't fit herePractice court footage of Stan is on youtube from one day ago. Still the old VCore paint job. So maybe not?

Look at the grooves at the base of the throat... all the same in the photos of her holding her racquets in different paint jobs... all different between the three retail models... It's always the same... Pros stick with the same model... find what works and keep it constant... it's their career we're talking about, they're not going to stuff around with ever-changing marketing gimmicks...
I think the manufacturer probably encourages blackout as it creates buzz for the next product once the current one has leveled out in sales.
Looks the same to me:
They did but it's not that. The paintjob you are refering to has a lot of white at the hoop.Didn't Yonex release a blacked out version of the VCore in Japan? Looks like that's her paint job du jour
Unless your name is Donald Young -- who changes rackets like underwear. Now he's playing Dunlop and looks terrible doing it.
Figure of speech. Most people change underwear daily. Young is getting close to that with racquets. That's because, as it's well known, it's the racquet's fault... Don't you know that...?
However, I must say I don't know Donald that well, so I can't comment on the frequency of his underwear changing...

Yeah I don’t get it neither. From what I’ve heard from the responsible of Yonex Benelux (who played a major role in signing Ivanovic to team Yonex) told me that Kerber issued the way the racket was painted the first time the Vcore SV released. According to him, they made the exact same frame, but the paintjob was 3/4grams heavier than before. she was not happy with that apparently, so she played with her old frames for a while, until Yonex fixed that ‘problem’. He said he thought it was more a personal form issue rather than a racket issue.
Btw, I LOVE this forum! I’m new here but I just recently worked two years in one of the biggest tennis specialist stores in Belgium. You’ll see me around and have a great year everyone!
New bat, but same wondrous thighs, I hope.
