I think Daniil'll know he needs to stay close to that baseline and attack the net more than ever so Rafa doesn't run him to death! He got a taste just last month in Canada so if his tennis IQ holds up, he should figure out what to do and not go out there aimlessly flailing about like some players in this position! The serve will be key with him needing some freebies he got out of Nole in Cincy!

Nadal had an uncharacteristic average spring and summer on clay; barely eeked out Masters final over Nole in Rome before winning again in Paris! I thought Nole's ranking was safe after that, but it's going to go down to the wire it seems with his early loss trying to defend! He has tons of points to defend and if that arm is in a sling, Rafa will finish #1 helping Roger out in that department anyway!
