For the life of me I can't figure out why either of them is considered to be extremely attractive. I think Ivanovic has a cute face, but otherwise...Sharapova in straights handily.

While I prefer Ana's little "ah-huh"s to Sharapova's loud "ughhhhhhh"s, I would have to say Sharapova may take this one in 3.

Ivanovic is only in the final since her opponent who could have rolled her choked. Sharapova has only rolled. You do the math.

Sharapova is too powerful for Ivanovic.

I hope this is going to be the 'official' thread for discussing. Can't stand those huge polls of Tchoky that take up the whole screen.

Nothing personal Tchoky, its just that it takes the whole screen and one has to keep scrolling to see latest posts.

all I know is that I would rather listen to sharapova's moaning and groaning all night versus that freakin squeal ivanovic has...oh my gosh thats so friggin annoying like nails on a chalkboard...now that ive had my rant i feel a lil better. thanks for readin.

maria ftw, even though ana is more eye candy and i wish she'd win, that' isn't reality since ana's got a few strong groundstrokes but maria's got the legs to run them down. also maria's got the upper hand with pulling wide angles. i'm not saying ana is bad, i'm just pointing out she's gonna get countered by maria's set of weapons. maria 3 setter.

It depends, sometimes ana comes out on fire, hopefully she will tomorrow! Ana beat Venus this year, masha didn't, but it's a completely new match. I'm for Ana anyways! Ajde!:)

well, the girls might be cute (and i'm just goin' with the consensus, here. i could care less about "cute girls") . . . but the tennis could be very, very ugly.

Maria simply because she serves so much better and has a better forehand. When she rolled Henin, that was eye-opening.

I give Ana huge credit for hanging in there last night and winning but she does not appear to have the tools to beat Sharapova.

hmmm i'd always go for the underdog, Ivanovic cuz she's never won a slam before, but I think Sharapova is going to win (she's had the better game this whole slam)

:twisted::twisted:praying for Ana to win but doubt it will happen. I absolutely can't stand Sharapova, but I think she is too strong for anyone to beat at this tourney. Please try though Ana, OK? Maybe you can pi$$ her off by squeaking your shoes and then Yuri can come down from the stands and try to choke you and then he'll be banned from attending any matches.....well, hey, I can dream can't I?

Ivanovic is irrataeing, whats with her shuffleing her feet and makeing her sneakers screech during the oppents serve motion? That the worst thing that any pro player does, its so distracting. Can't belive nobody has complained.

Hantuchova is a sore loser. What Hantuchova did last night, taking way too much time for too many points and breaks, turning her back while opponent is ready for the point, complaining to the umpire for no reason, ... was much worse in my book.

You don't have to make that noise when someone is serving. You can move your feet without making your sneakers screech.Nobody else does it.

Exactly right! And now Ana will get the pleasure of hearing the 80 decibel shrieking during the final...gawd..i hope Ana can pull it off, but doubtful
