So tell me with what racket he is playing now then!! Instead of making such a big trouble... How old are you.. Whatever; he does plays with a Dunlop mold.

Nope, sorry would like to try again. Oh I'm sorry but you are out of tries. Berdych uses the HEAD YT Radical MP with 16x19. Thanks for playing maybe you can do better next time!.

Berdych plays with a TGK260.2 with an Innegra Instinct paintjob.

According to dr325i, this is a YouTek Radical MP in a 16x19 string pattern.

What's your problem? Read the thread! Vsbabolat has all the answers! And once again, you've posted wrong information. I suggest you do more reading instead of posting in order to gain some knowledge.

Watching Berdych practice right now in Cincy and he is hitting with the Radical PJ. Took video of him testing the Instinct PJ but looks like he likes the Radical

After the Rogers, it's not surprising that he might go back, even if it is the same racquet.

Yeah, perhaps he is of the pros who actually cares about their PJ, like Delpo who refuses to endorse the BLX. It will be interesting to see what he pulls out of the bag for Cincy.

I don't know if I'd call it caring about the PJ but moreso not wanting to change anything that is apparently working. Call it luck or whatever.

I imagine that he would use what he is contractually obligated to use in matches. Sharapova moved to the Instinct at Wimbledon - I don't think that Berdych did at the time but I'm sure that the PJ was available.

Sharapova moved to the IG Instinct Pain job on her YT Radical Pro before Wimbledon. Her first tournament with the IG instinct paint job was at Madrid in April.

Was Sharapova's racquet ever painted to look like a YT Radical Pro? Every time I saw the frame, it was blacked out.

The downside of not using CAP grommets while putting designs on the inside when the player wants lead at 3/9. It looks cleaner on the Radical because of the solid colors. I think that the lead tape + interior graphics looks a bit noisy.

As for lead tape placement - I'm not terribly good at placing lead tape myself - I just try to get it on without folds and wrinkles.

Look at how it's touching the grommets at one point, and fans out towards the top. It's not wrong, it just doesn't look good...
Yeah, I was posting from my phone so I didn't catch that but now that I'm on the computer I see what you mean.

Probably takes out some tiny amount of racquet head speed away. :p

Lead touching the grommets... I don't think it matters a lot. The best player in the player seems to be playing ok with his lead touching the grommets:

Well, he won - maybe he'll ask Head to get the IG Radical paintjob instead of the IG Instinct paintjob.

Watching Berdych play doubles with Stepanek right now and he is using the Radical PJ. He had for Radicals strung up for today's practice and he practiced the whole time with the Radical PJ

^^^ yep, I was at that match too, and noticed he still had the Radical paintjob. Wonder if today he will show up with a diff PJ for Center court vs. Fed?

If he's playing Fed, he'd probably prefer the old PJ. I'm sure that Head would prefer the new one though.

rockin the radical PJ during the fed match, and so far after the first set it looks like a good decision!

Well, I only have one in hand. The other one is in New York, probably waiting for customs clearance.

Similar???
Why would they be any different?

Berdych could have used different specs/customization or they could be coming from another player. The pro stock racquets have so many different specs...
All the TGK260.2 i have seen were all different in term of specs.

dr325i would know better than I would.

The incoming frame is ~11.5 ounces strung. Berdych puts 12 grams of lead at 3 and 9 which added in would be ~11.9 ounces. That leaves 1.1 ounces to match it to the Instinct paintjob (I plan to try to match them up in static weight and swingweight). I imagine that the additional 1.1 ounces will be added in the handle and from 10 to 2. The incoming frame is a 4 3/8 so adding a heat-shrink sleeve (I want it at 4 1/2) may take care of the handle weight.

Why not just change the pallets?

Pallet + buttcap would be about $40. I have heat-shrink sleeves at home. It would also be an easy way to add half an ounce to the handle - basically killing two birds with one stone.

Yes, you can see it in the pictures of the handle that I posted. A very nice flared grip.

Ahh yes well then that makes perfect sense, I just don't trust heat-shrink sleeves for some reason.

He should switch between the rad and instinct pjs on the change out of balls, that would be pretty funny

A truly superstitious person wouldn't even bring the other racquets out on the court. I think that it's going to be tough for Head to pry those Radical paintjobs out of his bag until after the USO.

Berdych is really using a YT Radical MP though with the 16x19 string pattern. So it should be paint like a Radcial MP.
