I really wanted to see Berrettini back in top form on grass this year after having to withdraw last year with covid. I think he would have had another great run at Wimbledon last year if it weren't for that. He can't catch a break.

Berrettini doesn’t deserve all the jokes, he’s been struggling heavily with numerous injuries.

People forget but he was easily 4th or 5th best player in 2021 and took down Charlos in a classic at AO 22.

What has happened to him since - numerous tears, tendon issues in his hand, and the world’s most unlucky case of COVID - is just cruel.
