What, if anything, would you recommend for purchasing in 2010?

i seek an arm friendly synthetic for max topspin to pull the ball from my one handed BH down into and deep in the court.........i learned last month by accident that playing with what i have long considered to be "very dead" synthetic strings greatly improved all of my groundies, but especially that shot. I don't want to in the future keep my rackets string at a very low poundage, because of what it does to my arm.

I tried VS gut summer of 2009 with undesirable results.

By way of background, I have secured good results over the last several years using Technifibre NRG2 17 gauge and Gamma TNT2 17 gauge......BUT FOR the one hand BH going long far too often.........

So having your backhand go in more often is more important than your arm? Gamma synthetic gut feels fairly soft to me.

I wouldn't have any idea how often you restring or if cost is a factor. I happen to like the Prince line of synthetic gut which is available in many different colors - I happen to like the 17 yellow which is under $5 from TW.
