Alright, what would you all say is the BEST overall tennis bag.

A six-pack, not super-six.

Any with shoe dept? Any with many pockets for cell phone, keys, wallets, accessories, etc? Best climate controlled?

Best overall bag? THANKS!

Just curious, but lets say someone has 2 or more of a particular racquet (Prince O3...or some other Prince racquet), how many would have a bag NOT made by Prince? My main stick is a Wilson, I would never have a Babolat, Head or any other racquet bag except a Wilson.

To me its like being a Redskin fan and having a an Eagles book bag or something.

^^^ I am waaay to OCD to have mismatching stuff.

I bought a red cellphone to match my wilson stuff.

I won't wear mixed brands of tennis clothes. (I will however mix brands at the gym or when running. WTF is wrong with me)

Nothing's wrong with you... Check someone i know: He uses matching racket color for his shirt... no vice versa... and these are very different rackets... N5 for red, PS for black, nxg for green...
Talk about Metrosexual!!! But he plays good with every racket...

Same thing with me...

I even go as far as using the same brand of overgrip as my racquet...Thank god I'm not like that with strings...

Well, I am soon to have two Prince racquets. I didn't like the Prince bags, so I got a bag from a company that doesn't make racquets (Sergio Tacchini).

"The Sergio Tacchini Gabby Six looks awesome."

Gotta second that. Unfortunately, I can't get it where I am and postage from TW is $37. Had to settle for the Wilson K Factor K Pro Tour Super Six in black....

I'm talkin' six pack. I liked the Babolat, Wilson, and Techs.

I think I'm gettin' a k-facto, but I don't care if the bag doesn't match

We may have been twin brothers in another life. I'm the exact same way.

Do you stencil your strings as well?

Oh to answer the thread. I would go with Wilson. The K Pro bags feel very well made.

I don't stencil unless I have to under contract. Strings don't stay in my frame for very long, so if my stringer knows I am under contract and have to, then he does it, I won't do it myself tho.

i'm surprise to hear you are going with wilson despite your criteria for extra storage (shoe, mp3, etc.). wilson bags have big storage pockets but you can never find anything in those big pockets.

most head bags have shoe storage; pockets for cell phone, mp3, keys; wet compartment, etc.

Is Federer's bag any good? The white one?

Hi Lotto,

I do not own the Federer Bag, but I have seen it in person. It looks very sharp as well as being solidly Constructed.

I myself own the Wilson K Factor Pro Tour Bag in Red, and I think it is the same, minus the Cosmetics.

Hope that helps,
John

Sorry I should have been more clear. I'm getting a K-Factor racquet, and i don't care if my racquet doesn't match the bag.

So if I do want to have my cell, keys, wallet, balls, 2 racquets, few grips, couple damps, maybe set-a-string. You think the Babolat is better? Neither had ACTUAL thermo tech right? (I know some companies name their bags Thermo but have no actual tech)

Are they both flimsy? I've seen some that had like no structure at all, and I didn't like that they were like cloth handbags with straps.

In that case, should I get the Babolat Aero one? Sturdier, it has thermo tech, and good pockets/straps right?

LOL..me too. I only wear nike shirts, shorts and shoes. My bag can only be Wilson, although I have a few other racquets in the bag, my main stick is the K Factor. I can't wear an Adidas shirt and Nike shorts. I would be thinking about it the whole time.

It gets worse. I only play twice a week (and maybe 3 times during the summer). I have 4 pairs of shorts with mostly black and some other color (white, red, etc.). I also own 6 Nike tennis shirts. Each shirt is matched to a pair of shorts (4 shirts for 2 pants). I will only wear a white wristband (on my forearm), white socks (ankle). My shoes must also be mostly white (Vapor 2 and Oscillates). I could have gotten some nice BF2's for $45, ut it had a green primary color...I have NO green shirts.

My racquets are in alphabetical order and my KF 90's are rotated, so they must also be in a order.

My favorite bag is my prince bag mainly because I like the clip is has for hanging it on the fence when on an end court. But it's just a very nice bag overall and I also like my prince backpack, I use both all the time when playing tournaments or team matches. However, I hardly ever have a prince raquet in them since I had terrible TE from my prince sharks. Now I have my wilson nblade, PK 5g, or Dunlop 500.

i can't remember the babolat bag but several of the head bags (radical and extreme) have what you are looking for. however, they only have one of the thermal or cct compartments. i like the small pockets they have for the mp3/phone, keys but wish the extreme (yellow) bag had the built-in shoe compartment (as opposed to the removable pouch).

the babolat areo bag is going to be more durable and has all the features you are looking for. i wish they made a supercombi version as the 12 pack doesn't fit in my locker.

Babolat Aero bags are ridiculously good. Probably over-engineered, actually.

Volkl has always made a damn fine bag, too.

I have 2 diadora duffle bags. One big one with wheels and one that holds rkts perfectly without wheels. Unlike the above two bags, they do not fit in the overhead bin, but they are well-made and they were under 40 bucks.

It's a good thing you weren't on the varsity team of the high school that's by me, they're uniform was a beige Nike Shirt with white Adidas Shorts...

Uniforms are overrated. My tennis clothes are mostly blue to match my racquet, and I couldn't live if they didn't match. Then again, I'm number one on my high school team. My coach would probably let me do whatever I want ;)

Well I mean our high school colors are blue, white and black so we have Diadora collared shirts and black Nike shorts. I mean it looks nice and i really don't care. As long as it feels comfortable to play in, I am happy.

^^^ Spend the $20 on the Pro Tour, if you are a serious player/play a lot. You will make it back with the bag lasting longer.

I don't have any experience with the Pro bags vs the Tour bags. This is the first post i've seen (not that i've read too many) about the quality difference between them. I've been looking for new bags and I really fell in love with the layout of this bag:

http://www.tennis-warehouse.com/descpageBGWILSON-WKTBKPRO.html

I like how it's kind of a hybrid between the rectangular bags and the racquet-shaped bags. Considering i'm going to have only 3 racquets for the forseeable future it seemed like a nice fit. It says that it has a shoe compartment and room for a change of clothes which I will need.

I wish they made a "pro" version of it, the only ones they have in pro are the Six and Super-Six bags. If the quality difference is significant, though, I might have to rethink it and get one of the pro bags. One thing I like about the six and super six bags is the backpack straps.

The racquet compartment is tiny, the rest of the bag is big.

Me and several of my friends play with the babolat proline 6 racquet bag, even though none of us play with babolats. It is a great bag with a noticably good, tough feel. I don't know of anyone how carrys 6 racquets. I carry three on one side and my stuff on the other.

Recently I saw the Boris Becker bags - really, really nice, but not twice as expensive nice.
