I came across a package of black tourna grip one time at Wal-Mart. I bought it and it was amazing. I have never seen it anywhere else or seen anyone else using it.

Anybody else ever come across black before or know where to get it?

Was it the high tak one? Ive never seen a normal tourna in black, thats pretty odd. Ive by alot of tourna xl's at walmart sometimes if i stop by, there about the same price there and its convenient.

I used black tournagrip before I switched to the Babolat VS grip. I ordered it online, the only disadvantage is it only comes in 3-packs.

play well,
Andrew

The different colors of TG are all a little different. The black is a little less absorbent than the blue but lasts longer and doesn't shred as much. The gray (tacky) shreds in clumps rather than small pieces like the blue. They really behave like entirely different products.

El Diablo, you're exactly right. The black stuff lasted a long time and was stick just tacky enough to handle. It would save a lot of money and it looks much better.

Hmm, I've used it before and it looked pretty cool on my sticks. But it still think that theres nothing better than the classic purple-blue tournagrip. It's sort of taken on it's own style.

I still think wilson pro overgrips are cheaper, and although are white when bought in bulk, they play better. SUpergrap is pretty awesome too, if not a little TOO grippy.

At the Unique Sports Products website they have it all. ( www.uniquesports.us ) They have the original light blue, black, gray, and white. Also in different sizes, lengths, and hi-tack versions of em`

Thats Hilarious, the head of Sampras was obviously photoshopped onto another person's body. They can't even get it right because the body is left handed and sampras is right handed!

Unbelievable.. especially on the homepage of a professional website. I mean, you'd think they'd at least make an effort... besides, why not just use the real Sampras?

Good pick up! But it is the picture of Sampras that has probably been mirrored to fit the page design. I was trying to look carefully and it seems that the blurred Nike Swoosh on his sleeve is mirrored too.

Professional website usually have pages with titles, too (that is, on the HTML level so that you can accurately bookmark them or add to favorites). Well...not necessarily all of them as it's a somewhat common but glaring omission.

This one has a home page nicely titled "Untitled Document" (as are all of their pages, I think). That's a kind of big "Oops" on the part of any website developer in that they forgot to add titles to their pages. (Hint, hint -- if you're reading.) ;)
