Changing Strings, need opinion please

Hey guys, me and my tournament students are planning to switch strings and seeking some options and opinions.

We are currently using Polylon SP 17g as mains and Micro 17g as crosses.

This current setup is great because my students tend to break the strings after about 3 or so hours so we are constantly playing with fresh strings.

Recently at a tournament I noticed many things. I would say 80% of the unforced errors were balls going out by just 6inches to 1 foot. I felt that if there was just a LITTLE bit more top spin on the ball those same unforced errors would not have happened. The touch shots and volleys were not up to par as well. I am not blaming the string for the lack of performance but I am beginning to feel that there is a limit to what a set of 4 dollar strings can do. Please note these are tournament students they have on average 6 ~ 8 racquets with varied tensions for different style of plays so tension has been carefully researched with each student.

I've narrowed my search down to the following selection of strings for mains and crosses.

Mains :

Weiss CANNON Silverstring 17Lg
Babolat Pro Hurricane 18g

Crosses :

Prince Synthetic Gut Duraflex 17g
Gamma Synthetic Gut with Weargaurd 17g
Babolat Conquest 17g

Please let me know from PERSONAL EXPERIENCE on what strings you would chose. My main choices for now are Weiss Cannon Silverstring 17g and the Prince Synthetic Gut Duraflex 17g. Other string recommendations are welcome as long as they are within the same price range. Please keep in mind they are tournament players but are not sponsored yet so they pay out of their own pockets.

Money is a big issue for me and i break syn gut in about 5 hours of good hitting and i think a good setup that is cheap would be Signum Pro Poly Megaforce 1.19 and PSGD 16 in the crosses

wow. sounds like you're stringing a lot. if you are buying so much string i would think you should request a sponsorship from wholesale companies / retailers. sometimes it's not a lot, but a good 15%+ off can make a pretty big difference in strings you're able to purchase.
