Legend
In the current field at QF or SF - he is a decent clay player.
If Nadal is really injured or compromised at the FO, I think Juan Martin could win it.
This poll started in March. Recyclable poll? The poll is officially at play now.
You don't think Federer would make it to the 2nd week, but think Delpo could win it. Interesting.
I say 4R.

I wish I could be a bit more confident with fed's chances at Wimbledon. I suppose at this point he is still the favorite, but there is always more room for an upset and his level of play the first quarter (yes I know he won AO) seems to be a bit worse than last year. I guess I'd feel some type of way if he managed to defend either Miami or IW. I know grass is grass and he could have lost first round at AO, IW, and Miami and it would have no bearing on his Wimbledon results minus maybe confidence, but I get the feeling that aura of invincibility he managed to get back last year is gone.
Looking at his draw.He can reach QFs at least. He faces Vinollas at the 3rd Round and in the 4th either Isner or Chardy/Herbert
Isner is never an easy match for Delpo. Isner beat him the last two times they played: Paris and Miami.Looking at his draw.He can reach QFs at least. He faces Vinollas at the 3rd Round and in the 4th either Isner or Chardy/Herbert
Really want that Isner/Delpo rematch from Miami.

And while Del Potro views the Spaniard as the heavy favourite, he believes Dominic Thiem and Alexander Zverev are the two biggest threats to him at Roland Garros. When asked if he felt he could provide a major obstacle to the world No. 1’s progress, he replied: ‘No. ‘I don’t feel like I’d be one of the players who can challenge Rafa today, on Tuesday. ‘If I had to select some names, I would say Thiem or Zverev or some surprise that comes up, but today, I don’t feel that I’m part of any of those. players, and because of the surface we’re playing on, because there are a few of us who can really challenge Rafa.’
HahaLOL at the “Depends on if Nadal plays” poll option.
Well he reached QFs which is good. Cilic/Fognini wont be easy opponent. Fognini is good clay court player and Cilic shouldnt be underestimated
If Delpo wins his QF he'll be back at #4.
10-2 vs Cilic lifetime though, gimme those odds all day.
Yeah.Del Po have won all of his matches with Cilic on clay. With Fognini they havent played on clay.Anyway his QF opponent is still not clear-Fognini/CIlic match is going into 5th set.
Delpo to beat Rafa, then loses to Satan. TTW spontaneously combusts.Maybe Delpo can at least push Rafa to where a final might be somewhat more interesting. I doubt it but that's why you play the game
He really blew 2012 as well. Up two sets to love on Fed.
Berdych was playing good tennis though I must say - he was even doing it to start vs Fed but then he remembered who he was up against hahaha.
The poll option: Depends on if Nadal plays
Too good
Not that it will happen because it won't, but if I was to pick the top favourite to beat Nadal right now it would be Djokovic, and then Delpo. Zverev and Thiem have to bring it at slam level first before I believe they can beat Nadal at anything.
Thiem is too tennis illiterate to beat Nadal in BO5 anywhere, let alone on clay, and Zverev is too busy going 5 sets with every top 50 player he faces and barely beating them. If I'm ranking favourites it's Nadal by a mile, but Djokovic is 2nd right now IMO. At least he has the C.V. to back it up.
I had a dream that Nadal beat Del Potro in like a 5 + hour semi-final a la the 2009 AO SF against Verdasco and Djokovic still then lost to Nadal in the final lol.
If that's just a dream I can't imagine how horrific your nightmares are.I had a dream that Nadal beat Del Potro in like a 5 + hour semi-final a la the 2009 AO SF against Verdasco and Djokovic still then lost to Nadal in the final lol.
I think they call that a nightmare.
Great minds think alikeIf that's just a dream I can't imagine how horrific your nightmares are.
Maybe you lose all your "likes" in your nightmares

Well I also had a dream Cilic won Wimbledon hours before his crying fits vs Fred, so maybe my dreams are good omens.
I want a Djokovic-Delpo final and Delpo in 5 but we all know thats not gonna happen.Well I also had a dream Cilic won Wimbledon hours before his crying fits vs Fred, so maybe my dreams are good omens.
Hey, I'm on board for that! JDDP winning a slam he has said he "cannot win" would be sweet.I want a Djokovic-Delpo final and Delpo in 5 but we all know thats not gonna happen.
Yes that would be lovely. That would mean that Novak is back which will be the biggest takeaway for me. Also it would mean Delpo winning another slam(much deserved). Why I don't want Novak to win? Because if Rog can't have that double career GS then no one should. Well I am primarily a Fed fan afterall.Hey, I'm on board for that! JDDP winning a slam he has said he "cannot win" would be sweet.

I really disagree with that. Novak Djokovic has the CV but 2018 Novak doesn't look to me like a guy who can beat Rafa at RG. I felt he was gassed after just one set when they played this year at Rome. I can't see him running down all balls and beating Rafa in five, not happening. It's just my opinion.
Dominic Thiem took two sets off off Rafa this year. Of course, you can't call it luck as he has done it before also. Of course, it's a different level taking three sets off Rafa compared to taking two sets.
Still if I were a betting man, I would put money on the guy who won two sets against Rafa than on the guy who got gassed after just a set, that too which he lost in TB. Also for me, it appears to me that Novak Djokovic is too frail for best of five matches
So many poll cheaters. Pre tournament like 2 people said he'd make the SF
Did you vote twice?

Yeah I allowed multiple votes, should have closed voting on the first day of the French.
