He should be, because its all Federer's fault for killing tennis with his copies.Giles Simon is very angry about this.
Dimitrov could have been but ladies were more of a trophy for him than slams.Dimitrov is the second generation of a Federer mold.
Because he failed to be succeed Federer they decided to create a third generation of Federer, Tsitsipas.
Is Federer 3.0 betterer than Federer 2.0?
Mirka is the secret for success.Dimitrov could have been but ladies were more of a trophy for him than slams.
o b s e s s e dEveryone knows that Djokovic is simply a 3rd version of Lendl and Agassi.
So Djokovic moldes his game around those guysFederer and Nadal are unique and were the originals.
Everyone knows that Djokovic is simply a 3rd version of Lendl and Agassi.
Tsitsipas will probably end up being a better player than Dimitrov.
Same deal with Safin and Zverev. Marat could have won 5-7 slams had he concentrated on tennis rather than partying/babes. No criticism intended there, he's free to do whatever he wants and I'm sure he has no regrets.Dimitrov could have been but ladies were more of a trophy for him than slams.
He is Fed 2.5.How about Dan Evans
I heard that he was drunk in the AO 2002 final. He didn’t give a sheet..lolSame deal with Safin and Zverev. Marat could have won 5-7 slams had he concentrated on tennis rather than partying/babes. No criticism intended there, he's free to do whatever he wants and I'm sure he has no regrets.
Marat the OG mad ladI heard that he was drunk in the AO 2002 final. He didn’t give a sheet..lol
Apparently the reason Fed was so distracted and nervous against Millman this year was because he played a practice match against Safin right before the match, and Safin destroyed him.I heard that he was drunk in the AO 2002 final. He didn’t give a sheet..lol
I agree. Although it is quite obvious dimitrov's strokes took a lot of inspiration from Fed, he's got nowhere near the footwork or power on his strokes. Dimitrov's creativity is also more contrived than Fed's. When D hits a cool shot, it too often looks like he had been waiting to hit something interesting. Fed comes up with interesting shots simply to win the point.Don't think either of them plays anything like Fed but of the two, Tsitsipas is just more impressive to me at full flight, when he steps in the court and starts hammering the ball. He strikes me as more talented of the two, Dmitrov never really vowed me with his game (on court).
Oh Safin was top drawer. Definitely would have won at least 6 Majors. But he has enjoyed his life so good luck to him.Same deal with Safin and Zverev. Marat could have won 5-7 slams had he concentrated on tennis rather than partying/babes. No criticism intended there, he's free to do whatever he wants and I'm sure he has no regrets.
And he's playing Dan Evans nextImpressive, the old busted version ended up beating the new hotness.
2.0 vs 2.5 it is then. And he's playing Dan Evans next
Who does he play like? I've hear Federer say this as well maybe the most similar thing is smooth movement and on hander. What's the difference in their playing styles?Dimitrov because Tsitsipas doesn't play like Federer.
Is it possible to move to much?Tpas needs to stop being afraid of the BH slice, especially on the return!
Dimi is the one player who actually moves his feet too much!
yea, i wouldn't have thought so, but Dimitrov actually over moves and takes too many extra steps! Is it possible to move to much?

So how is there playing style more dissimilar than similar just tryna pick your brain. I grew up watching Dimi when I was young he was the next big thing almost proved it as well shame he couldn't get over the hump after a great 2017His backhand swing and footwork does not remind me of Federer at all. His movement on clay was also nothing like Federer.
He is a tad better player than Dimitrov but Dimitrov's backhand swing (and movement too) is more similar to Federer. His court positioning isn't like Federer's though.
This is Marat's players box during AO 2002. No wonder he didn't give one f!I heard that he was drunk in the AO 2002 final. He didn’t give a sheet..lol
Yeah, in dimitrov's case yes. He never seems to settle his feet enough to really lean into his groundstrokes. He comes off as a bit skittish. His power, especially on the forehand, is surprisingly average. Is it possible to move to much?
Tsitsipas an excellent attacking player. Roger GOAT attacking player. You can't watch this video and tell me Tsitsipas does the better Fed knockoff, that's ridiculous. He looks pretty mediocre with such an ugly FH, clumsiness, none of the interesting aspects of Fed's game (which is every part of his game). Greg is doing a pretty damn accurate old and slow Fed impersonation here with some nice BH flicks, some junkballing, good touch, solid ballstriking when in position.
I watched most of the match live, Dimitrov looked better than Tsisipas in all his shots. Shame he can never put it all together for more than a couple of matches at a time. You can't watch this video and tell me Tsitsipas does the better Fed knockoff, that's ridiculous. i think we've already seen the best of dimitrov..
he turns 30 next year
