Go off our players page.He better bring his movement and stamina to tip top condition.
I don't want to hear about flat forehands on the run or uninspired dropshots at RG and Olympics.
OK sorry, man. I realise I went too far.How would you feel if Novak fans polluted the "Forgive me" Sinner thread with all kinds of non Jannik realted stuff? So please do not do this, be kind
Go away.2011, 2015, 2023 were all incompetent, compared to the full power of the almighty S.
Already is. At least has a better claim than anyone else in history. Here is a good news: Djokovic will never be the GOAT
The guy who's won a single slam so far? He's definitely good, but let's not call him a 3-slam winner in a highly competitive year (2011) just yet.2011, 2015, 2023 were all incompetent, compared to the full power of the almighty Sinner!
Don't engage. Mass report.Already is. At least has a better claim than anyone else in history.

Oh and don't come back into the Djokovic News thread. You're only here to stir up drama, not to talk about Djokovic News.
Do you know who I am?Go off our players page.
Probably much higher for the open era.I was just looking at this page...
List of Grand Slam singles champions by country - Wikipedia

...and Serbia is just behind Sweden at ninth for country with most single slam titles. Sweden has 26 and Serbia has 25. It never dawned on me that Djokovic has as many slam titles as Borg, Wilander, and Edberg combined!
The 25th Serbia slam title is Ana Ivanovic's.

This is what his record looks like at Roland Garros.
You are right. His Rome numbers are massive themselves. 6 Rome titles, 12 Rome finals. Won first in 2008 and last in 2022 with 14 years in between.Record of quarterfinals AND record of consecutive quarterfinals in a Grand Slam. Hasn't lost before QF since Kohlschreiber in 2009. And he does it in his least successful one.
He is even better in Rome, actually. 17 consecutive quarterfinals between 2007 and 2023. Never lost before a quarterfinal in the city of love. Hopefully makes it 18 this year. To think some people still claim Kuerten Wilander or Vilas were better clay courters than him is laughable to me.
What is the coaching situation looking like, any names coming up?It seems Novak is assembling his old crew . Miljan Amanovic as the physio , Gebhard Gritsch his old fitness coach. This video confirms it
For now Nenad Zimonjic, we all hope for return of Vajda. What is the coaching situation looking like, any names coming up?
slightly effeminate pose that is handily compensated by djoker's wolf aura
Dang, the sound of the balls are so explosive!!!!It seems Novak is assembling his old crew . Miljan Amanovic as the physio , Gebhard Gritsch his old fitness coach. This video confirms it
Rome, May 8-19
RG, May 27-June 9
WB, July 1-14
Olympics, July 27-August 4
The next 3 months will be exciting! Let's see what Novak will write in the tennis history book.
Can't really put a "like" on this post as I quite like Marco...Novak announced on social media on Tuesday that he has split with fitness coach Marco Panichi.

"Incredible scenes".
This is 426 with quite unlikely scenario of Sinner winning both Rome + Geneva (just before RG).
Marco is a phenomenal fitness coach but I got the sense he got to repetitive with Novak in the last year or so. Concentrating more on proper body rotation and strengthening of the muscles than needed long match endurance. We saw significant drop in Novak physical level in tough matches several time last year and in 2024 . More is needed on endurance level. Can't really put a "like" on this post as I quite like Marco...
You ain't wrong, that's for sure..More is needed on endurance level.
425 + 1 (geneva) + 2 (RG) = 428 (rafa + rafa + 10)This is 426 with quite unlikely scenario of Sinner winning both Rome + Geneva (just before RG).
He's 99.999% not playing Geneva, sos. it's practically 427 weeks.
Also, Novak will 100% be the top seed at RG, regardless of what Sinner does.
There are pretty good chances Sinner will get no1 right after RG, leaving Novak at 427 weeks.425 + 1 (geneva) + 2 (RG) = 428 (rafa + rafa + 10)
no, after RG nole will have 428 weeks. RG is 2 weeks tournament! and it was not ranking update for this week BC even masters are 2 weeks tournaments now. so nole has 423 now and RG ended on 9th april. so that is 5 additionally weeks. There are pretty good chances Sinner will get no1 right after RG, leaving Novak at 427 weeks.
