Do we believe all this Court Speed talk?

I remember Courier saying Miami played as slow as clay this year. I think he said equal to Monte Carlo.
Then tonight during the Nadal beatdown of Delbonis, he mentions that Monte Carlo is playing like Miami.

I know Hawkeye calculates all these court speeds.
But are there other factors besides the speed that might make it different? If two courts measure at the same speed, are their bounce and effects on spin going to be the same?

My eye test leads me to believe Monte Carlo is still slower than Miami. But maybe I'm just seeing a higher bounce which might let them throw more spin into the ball.

Just wonders if others feel this rating has a lot or little merit?
