I respect them for droping out, atleast they won't be taking up space that they don't need to be when they are not in tour shape.

I think that it is great that Hingis is doing so well, after reading more about her comeback you can see that she had planed this come back for over a year and was trainning and playing for it. She is not missing a step, with so many of the women out of shape and/or being so injured/injury proned things look really really good for her.

I am happy that Mirza is doing so well also, out with the old and in with the new:mrgreen:

They aren't out with the old yet. They have a lot to offer. Serena will be on Tony Danza Monday at 10, and I'm anxious to know what she will look like. A fit and Focused Serena is so hard to beat. She needs to get back that way!

Please get back at us with a report about how she looks. Also if she gives any hints when she will be back on the tour. I have this funny feeling that we won't see them until Roland Garros.

She's obviously very 'focused' on rehabbing whatever injury she has if she's going on the talk TV circuit.

Unless she wears a completely trashy outfit I doubt you'll be able to discern what kind of shape she's in.

Someone needs to tell Serena "The road to hell is paved with good intentions"

Every time she loses, she's going to rededicate herself. She never does. It's getting to be pathetic.

That's the problem, she is more concerned about her looks, and being in the media so she can be a super star instead of tennis.

And it is biting her in the but right now, people are beating the sister that never should.

The Nasdaq-100 is now a mandatory event, so I assume that Venus & Serena will play in the tournament. They are both three time winners of this event as well and if they don't participate in this event then all hell will break loose.
