A few quibbles-

Goffin was playing injured so I'm not sure that match should count for awards.

Dimitrov made AO SF. Shouldn't Kyrgios make the regressed list? He's dropped out of the top 20.

Was it really a shock when aulderer lost? We all knew it was possible.

No award for Best Outburst? mybsypu

I don't think Goffin was injured even though he was far too rusty to play a professional match. He looked like he hadn't hit a ball in weeks, footwork was completely off.

Performance wise Dimitrov has seriously regressed this season compared to the end of last season, since the AO he's got worse. Kyrgios hasn't played much and is always a headcase. Dimis decline is something of a mystery.

Fedrs loss against a guy who had a 20-33 career record (largely due to injuries) was a crazy shock. Dimis loss in Dubai is a contender though.

Ah i forgot best outburst! Only one winner

I think Goffin's eye injury messed up his coordination, but I guess fair enough. Good explanation for Dimi.

Still don't agree that Fed losing was a shock. I missed the match but when I saw the result my reaction was "ok so aulderer showed up".

Not sure if "best outburst" or "best gif-able moment" but I'm glad we're acknowledging the moment.

How about runner ups? Kei gets runner up failed comeback imo.

We should really have a vote on these things. At least no one disagrees on the worst outfit award

Kei has seen his best days i think, looks like one of those grinders who burns out before the age of 30. His lost gen rival Raonic should get back into the top 10 by the end of the year or higher.

Half of these awards seem to be focussed mainly on Indian Wells and Miami.

Breakout next gen star being Ćorić? He did nothing at the Australian Open. Definitely give it to Chung who asides from Brisbane, hasn’t fallen before the QF of a tournament all year: QF’s in Auckland, Delray Beach, Acapulco, Indian Wells and Miami. SF at a slam at the Australian Open. Ćorić with SF in IW and a QF in Dubai, Doha and Miami. Doesn’t quite compare.

Worst performance being Goffin? The guy who had just returned from his injury time off from hitting his eye with a ball? That Zverev bagel by Chung at the AO was pretty poor and I’ve seen some other demolitions. Gotta give Goffin a pass on that match.

Best performance being DelPo at the IW final? If it was a fantastic, flawless match then it would’ve been a straight sets demolition. He did kind of get lucky in that 3rd set, didn’t Fed serve like 3 double faults in the crucial moments? I can think of far better performances throughout the year.

Regressed player going to Dimitrov? Ah he made the SF in Brisbane, QF at the Aus Open and the final in Rotterdam. Again, seems you only have been factoring in Indian Wells and Miami results for that one. Sock would definitely get the most regressed player as he’s been poor all year.

Most improved award would also probably go to Chung as well over Tiafoe. Compare the results and ranking rise and it’ll show.
