Looks nice.
I like Roger's new outfit.

He'll make it work ;) :

There's no way Roger wins this title winning 5 matches on Rome clay on consecutive days. He might get through Sousa and Coric. Beating Tsitsipas / Fognini will be a tough one already - I suppose if it's Stefanos it could be that he will start to feel all the matches he's played recently. I don't think he goes further.

Till today I predicted at least a QF from him, but now I am not that confident given the circumstances.Still , maybe he won't be forced to play 3 setters in a row :)

Yeah two matches in one day will be tough, particularly given that Coric won't have to matches. Rwcovering for the next day if he wins will be even tougher.

I suppose at least his QF opponent will have gone through the same - Fognini is also in his thirties now, and Tsitsipas has been playing a lot of tennis.

I feel like I'm clutching at straws though.

I meant that he will try to win every single match he plays, which also means that he will try to pull off an unprecedented number of wins for a player his age in a very short period of time. That is bound to end not so well. He will win some, but at what cost?

The problem is not that he will play 2 matches in Rome. The problem will come when they are 3 or 4.

We've just got to trust Roger & his team to know his body and know when to stop.

Just a month until he starts playing on grass. A couple more matches between then will help to keep things moving along. So far it’s all good. Problem is, will he slow down because of the time spent on clay.

Coric is boring as hell, gives no emotion at all, no cool face/***** face/Crybaby face/pissed off face/I don't care /**** off face /smug face, no nothing except a dull expression on him all the time. Given how many times he has given Federer trouble and how solid his game is, I would have started rooting for him against the field but his on court personality kills it all.

And commentators were appreciating how he meant business, someone tell them personalities like Coric will kill Tennis.

No one other than his box wanted him to win that match if you saw the reactions from the crowd.

That's funny, Borg was exactly the same and yet was idolised by press and fans. IceBorg they called him....

Literally the most he’s ever been outplayed and still won. Nice to see things evening out a little even though they won’t completely get there.

He’s close to 40 losses when winning more points or being tied in points, by far the most ever for players we have statistics for.

I think that X-man match is one in which he had his lowest dominance ratio and still won (.74 or .76).

Borg was a rock star in tennis and was a phenomenal ATG player. Coric is a piece of lint compared to Borg when they have a racket in their hands. To even mention Bore-ic in the same sentence as Bjorn is bordering on blasphemy. It's like comparing Laver to Raonic.

Oh yeah, he was having a go at the media, and the WHOLE press room ROFL :-D.
Listen to the presser ;).

i did, lmao i loved the bit where he was like yes and my favorite part was to be here at 11 so i could wait all day. honestly my favorite bit was about kygrios, he was so not taking the bait for another headline when that guy was like i heard people were talking in the locker room and fed was like were you there? and then also was like you have to be careful when you say things when he asked how long nick should be suspended for when it hasnt even been confirmed that he would be.

Agreed. That question about Nick was annoying to hear, and I'm glad that Fedr 100% put him in his place by asking 'has it been decided?'. Fedr is so nice to the media so often, but they just want to throw him under a bus to get a headline. The reporter asked Fedr's opinion on how long 'should' Nick be suspended. Any 'amount' as an answer would be Fedr falling into the trap. I'm still glad that Fedr's stance was that Nick should NOT be suspended, at all. As Fedr said, was the the chair (the object) hurt LOL? It simply was not severe enough. So Nick should be suspended bc a chair was thrown into open court? Ridiculous! Dude, tennis players bash a yellow ball for a living :-D, but they should be suspended bc of a chair was thrown at air? o_O

TennisTV's schedule says that they are not showing the Federer-Tsitsipas match tomorrow... WTF? It's a quarterfinal on Court Centrale, for crying out loud... Can this be true????
It looks to me they are airing it all day. Ted Robinson did the promo and said Fed-Tsitsipas will be the first men's match tomorrow and they will have it on.
