Federer or Djokovic...Who is the better all round player?

You're disgusting boring Nadal fanboy/girl just trying to judge everything on this planet by 23-10, please continue to embrace yourself more.

I'll not be surprised if you comes with 23-10> Achievements

Why am I Nadal fan boy if I'm projecting Djoker here and not Nadal?

When did I say 23-10 is all that counts? I even present it "10-23" to talk from Federer's perspective. It only matters in "complete game" discussion, hence I bring. In fact I talked about it 4 or 5 times already! You should somehow beef up comprehension skills. With no offense let me say you're the one who looks like fan boy, even troll.

By your logic Sampras is more all round than Djoker because 14 > 7.

In my book it's world class shot could be exploited by only one player consistently over period of decade, it's Rafa's perfect tactics not weakness.

:D

It's average overall. Sure he can do a few things with it, but it's the top spin shots that counts the most. Even Wawrinka, Almagro, Gasquet all are better in "that aspect". Federer covers the weakness well with overall superior game. Ever heard past players say Federer's BH is world class or even best among single handers?

I have actually...

Not that I agree with everything on that list - but Federer's backhand is often considered a world class shot.

Thanks for that. Wouldn't read too much from it. For one, it's 5th best in a category tailor made for single handers. I'm doubtful if it would feature there even in top 10 in a combined list. I'm not even talking where it stands all time. Secondly, too many parameters must have gone into making the picks, but I was here specifically talking about topspin BH. By world class I mean something like Mac saying on Wawrinka:

"Is the most powerful I have seen, and is the best SHBH today"

You see, directly related to Waw's topspinner. When I said world class I didn't mean one of the best today among SHBH. Not nitpicking, but I genuinely didn't mean it. Here's what I wrote:

"Federer's BH is world class or even best among single handers?"

You see I rated the adjective "world class" above best SHBH. Thanks once again. Appreciate it. We had a definition problem, not much..

He was. 10chars.

Upon giving a re-look, I feel you have a point. Sampras is indeed more complete than Djoker if you look it one way. If dimensions to game is considered, then yes Sampras is more complete. I better call it "more versatile".

I commented on "completeness" from a surface adaptability point of view. Djoker can play on surfaces better than Sampras.
