Doubt that #2 is a huge priority. For statistical peace, may want to get back on the plus side in their H2H. I wouldn't mind seeing that.

If he took down Nadal at RG... I think they'd have to put his name in lights on an arena there, or something.

Likelihood (IMO) is that he overtakes Lendl for tourney titles. If he could do it in '17, that'd be tidy.

Last time he beat Novak in a GS was W '12, no? and it was a semi final. It's been a while. I know we're expecting too much from the old guy, but hey, this is Federer.

Tbf he didn't really try at the masters between 08-10 and he won a load of them playing BO5 finals between 02-06.

If he had his 12,14,15 masters mind set when he was physically stronger in 08-10 he might have won more than the 2-3 or so? He won during those years.

It counts ofc. It's the same tournament named Rogers Cup(Canada Open).It doesn't matter it takes place in two citiesToronto and Montreal.
