*Please note this is not suggesting this is the only reason they lost a match but only infers that Delpo was a major contributing factor in their subsequent performance.

2012 French Open QF vs Fed: Delpo took Fed to five sets and Fed then would lose to Novak in straight sets in the SF.

2012 Summer Olympics vs Fed: Played a grueling SF against Fed which lasted nearly 4 and a half hours and included a 19-17 3rd set. Fed would go on to lose the Olympic Final to Murray in three straight sets. Fair to say that Delpo took something out of Fed.

2013 Wimbledon SF vs Novak: Delpo took Joker to five grueling sets in the Grass and Novak would then lose the Wimbledon Final to Murray in straight sets.

2018 Wimbledon SF vs Nadal: Nadal lost an exhaustive five set match to Delpo with each set being decided either by only 1 break or a tie-breaker. Nadal would then lose the SF to Novak in five sets over 2 days. Important to note Nadal hit the ball roughly 10 MPH faster on his FH and BH on the 2nd day indicating he was a bit fatigued in the first 3 sets.

2019 Italian Open QF vs Novak: Novak had to fight off 2 Match points in his match with Delpo and then having a tough match against Diego until finally capitulating to Nadal in the FInal

I wouldn't say Delpo played spoiler at the 2012 FO. The last 3 sets were really routine for Fed once Delpo got injured. Fed was lucky that day.

Fed then lost in straights to Novak in the semis because his form was never great from the beginning and Novak made him pay.

But really Delpo could have won those matches and got himself a Wimbledon title and a gold medal. However dealing with Murray directly has rarely gone well for him especially if he faced him in a final!
