Flexible Player's Racquets?

What are some flexible player's racquets out on the market today? I currently own a few Dunlop Max 200g's and I love the flexibility on the racquet. I believe it has a RDC flex rating of 40. Of course I don't expect any racquet on today's market to have a flexibility of 40. I'm pretty much looking for a racquet that plays similar to the Max 200g, but with better spin potential. I've never complained about generating spin before and I can usually generate a good amount of spin with a dense string pattern. Is the Muscle Weave 200g a good compromise?

Give the PS 6.0 95 a try. It's the closest thing in feel I've found to the Max 200G. It's also a spin machine with its very open string pattern. BTW, the MW 200G is nothing like the Max 200G IMHO.

Is the PS 6.0 95 as stiff as the PS 6.0 85? The PS 85 is currently my main stick...

How much does the RD-7 weigh? I've leaded down my PS 85 and it currently weighs 13.2oz .

13.2??
wow, i guess u DO like ur racquet heavy.
i think RD-7 is suppose to be around 12.3.
but the 2 i have are probably around 11.9.
for some reason, they are lighter than they are suppose to be.
probably because of the 4 1/4 grip size...

Stick with the 85 unless you want more power. Interesting how the lone 6.0 95 **** here thinks that a lighter, stiffer frame with a more open pattern is more like the Max 200G than the 6.0 85 is.

Oh no, it's Mr. Prestige, again! I used the Max 200G for 13 straight years so I think I know that racquet pretty well. I also own a couple of PS 6.0 85's and eight PS 6.0 95's, so I think I know those two racquets pretty well, too. Yes, the PS 6.0 95 is more flexible, NOT STIFFER as you claim, than the PS 6.0 85. I think everyone else on this board would agree with that. He also said he wanted something like the Max 200G but with MORE SPIN POTENTIAL. Yes, the PS 6.0 95 does have a more open string pattern than the Max 200G, and guess what, that's why it also offeres more spin potential.

BTW, if you think I'm the only one on these boards that likes that PS 6.0 95, then you must not be reading many threads.

ffrpg I second Rabbits C10 pro recommendation.
Mr. prestige is right about it being light, and having a more open string pattern...but as far as being stiffer than the ps 85 that’s incorrect.

ffrpg,

Im in a somewhat similar boat to you in that I played for quite some time with the old 80's style 200G and now need to find something to replace it. I haven't had any luck unfortunately. I did find the old Prestige Pro to be good and solid, with lovely touch like the 200G but without any real 'bite'. I also felt the 200G gave more power (yes, more power) when strung at the lower end of the scale although the Prestige is much better on serve.

I think those people who suggested Volkl might be on to something, especially as McEnroe went to the C10 for a little while (on the seniors tour). I tried the t10mp GenII and it had a lovely flexible but solid feel like the Dunlop. Too large a head size for me but still very nice and lots of spin. I think the C10 is a touch softer in feel but heavier overall so you might be better with that. I'd just avoid those Volkls with the v-engine.

Can I ask, what did you think of the PS 6.0 85 after using the 200G? Did you feel it was the closest thing you could find (discounting the spin potential)? I've contempated changing to it but not entirely sure if it would be a good choice.

stick to the desired flex range in the TW racquet finder and see what it spits out..in addition to the C10 and T10MPGen2, the Fischer Pro1 hits like a pillow within the sweetspot. If you want really flexy, find older well used ones, and they will flex even more, but will play less lively.

OK, so flex on the 95 is a little lower than the 85's? Face it, it's not only a minimal difference, but also a relatively minimal difference, that you had to use capital letters to get your point across. I'm sure 2 points flex outweighs the frame's other glaring differences and shortfalls.

I still love my PS 6.0 85 after using the Max 200g. I don't think the racquets really feel alike. The Max 200g feels more like my Jack Kramer Autograph wood racquet. The PS 85 is definitely more stiff. I enjoy the fact that the Max 200g is so comfortable to use. The power levels are pretty similar. The PS 85 is better for touch shots. The PS 85 is less forgiving; the 200g has such a large sweet spot. I can volley well with both racquets, but I prefer the PS 85. Personally, I don't think it's worth switching from the Max 200g to the PS 85. I no longer have the RDX500 mid, but from my past experiences, I think the RDX500 mid feels closer to the Max 200g than the PS 85 does. The RDX500 mid has that same dampened feel and has a large sweet spot. I can also generate a ton of spin with the RDX500 mid. It almost makes me want to go out and buy another RDX500 mid :/

I like the POG MP. Pretty nice and the string bed is pretty easy on my arm and is VERY open. 14 mains.

The POG is indeed a nice racquet. It's not really for me though. The frame is pretty stiff.
