I often wonder how frame/head size in a racket and age corresponds to each other and therefore I'm making this poll to check it out :)

Please vote and feel free to post a comment about WHY you prefer the frame size, you play with most of the time.

I realize some of us have different rackets in our bags with different frame size - but we all have one frame size we prefer over the other in my view.

I have 4 Wilson 95 SQ" frames in my bag and 4 Head 98 SQ" frames and I must say, that if I'd have to choose, I'd probably still prefer the 95 SQ" frame size.

But the 98 SQ" frame size is a new comer in my bag, and maybe it will grow on me in the long run...who knows :D

For now my favorite is the 95 SQ" frame size !

im 14 and i play with a 100 sq in racket. but i dont think this should be listed under oversized. 100 is still a midplus. anything 102 and over i would consider oversized

^^^ yea, 100 isnt oversize. i believe 106 and up is oversize. and 95 kinda blurs inbetween midplus and midsize

I would tend to agree. Fewer racquets are being made today with sub 90 sq in heads so I think 90-95 is more midplus.

And thank God! I was using a 121SQ" head flexpoint 10 and i borrowed my friend's 98 MG radical and k-95 and i saw a large improvement on my spins

Teenagers generally have lower skill and less strength - they will prefer lighter frames bigger heads.

I would also think so, but the teenagers in here at the TW Forum don't seem to like oversize racket heads....according to the votes from them so far :)

95-100" works for me. (Voted 95-98", close enough)

Anything larger than that starts to feel a bit "granny".

ROFLLLLLLLLLLLLLLLL. i dont know why you would assume this lol.

I'm not sure what exactly you can disagree with - can you disagree that people between 20 and 50 are generally stronger?

Can you disagree that stronger people generally like heavier rackets?

Are you going to say that heavier frames usually don't have smaller head size?

I have moved toward the 100 sp in frame size in the last few years, starting with the Wilson HPS 5.1 Surge X to the Babolat PDC and now to my Beckers: V1 and the new Becker Pro. In my head I can still play with the Wilson PS 85 sq in racquet, but realistically, I am good with the sticks I have. I will be 44 this year and play at a 4.0 level.

this is a ridiculous comment. most teenagers use a 95-100 sq. inch headsize that weighs aorund 11-11.5. older people (55+) are much more likely to use a light, larger racket because they are not as strong as they used to be.

yes i just think the comment about strength was wrong. teenagers are strong not weak.

Of course...because obviously there are only teenagers and old people.

Its weird though, I actually prefer a 93-95 frame size. But will play with 98-100 if I feel like it. I'm using a 95 right now though.

im 14 and im a tournament player. most of the time i get beaten by kids that are huge and can hit the **** out of the ball. they beat me pretty easily and im not too weak myself. so imagine how big these kids can be. so dont try to tell me that teenagers are weak and like, light, huge rackets, because they dont. i cant remember the last time i saw a kid my age with a racket that was under 11 oz. and over 100 sq. inches. teenagers are in no way weak, im sure they are much stronger than a lot of older people.

36 years old 98" Vokl Tour 10 MP. Came down to a 98 from an oversized LM Radical Flexpoint and really seem to be getting better control.

Not necessarily. I know a few people who are terrible and use mid size frames but it boggles my mind on why they do. However its there choice and decision.

For me I use a 100 square inch racquet which is considered a mid+ and not an oversize.
