Gasquet vs Canas-Miami 3rd round

I am looking forward to this match at the Miami Masters. Gasquet's earlier match with Grosjean was filled with errors, possibly due to the wind or due to reluctance to play someone you grew up idolising.

Any thoughts on how this match would end? I would like Gasquet to win to set up a showdown with Federer in the 4th round, but quite obviously Gasquet is not playing his best tennis and with a grinder like Canas it might not be possible to get away with the kind of errors he made in his 2nd round match.

Anyone has any idea if the match would be played under a closed roof? Are there any closed roof courts in the tournament?

Despite the fact he how rarely loses against players who are behind him in the rankings,Gasquet has been playing quite poorly this year actually.
what worries me the most is that he fastly becoming a defensive player.

and again, willy has a deceiving #55 . he is playing a hell better than a guy ranked that position.

Interesting match up this one with many long rallies from what I can tell from the 2 players. Canas can win in 3.

Always when I said that cañas will lose, he win. So, because I want to cañas wins, my prediction is that Gasquet will beat Cañas in 3.

Yeah agreed. I want to see the Canas-Fed rematch. Normally I would've picked Gascquet but... he didn't beat Fed last year at one of the US Open warm up tourneys and he played better there, so, VAMOS CANAS

Baghdatis, believe me, he will play better in his next match.Roger's second serve was still good enough today.

His superb mentality was absent though and after his early loss in the IW he should show better attributes in the early rounds of Miami than he did.

Poor performance from Richard... Canas played one of his best matches.. he only made 2 unforced errors in second set.

You think Fed is going to let Canas beat him again? Doubt it. Canas beats Fed at the PLO and then proceeds to lose to Moya the next round who is well behind his prime. What does that say? Canas was playing great/lucky that day. Not going to happen again.
